I hate stupid people
I wanted to be more general and name this thread "I hate people". But then I thought, no, I don't hate all people. I just hate stupid ones. It just seems that all people are stupid because stupid people are the vast majority, and the smart people just don't bother.
Yeah yeah... It's all subjective... How does one define stupidity.... You are stupid for calling people stupid.... Stupid people have rights too....
Whatever, I don't care. I still hate them and there's nothing you can do about it. And I'm usually a very loving person. There are very few things you can do to make me hate you. But being stupid is one of them.
Stupid people are the reason the strongest nation in the world has an idiot for president. They are the reason hollywood keeps making money. They are the reason for everything that's wrong with the world. Hate them.
Here are some signs you may be stupid:
- You use netspeak and will reply to this thread with something like "n0 d00d i m not u r st00pid i m 1337"
- While not using netspeak, you reply with something like "LOLz i m stupid? fine proove to me that i m stupid i m actualy very smart"
- You seriously consider suicide despite the fact that your life is better than that of 90% of people on this planet.
- When you hear something you don't understand, your first thought is "what's wrong with him?" rather than "what's wrong with me".
- You pay big bucks for clothing that looks like it was bought in a thrift store because this makes you special. Everybody who doesn't wear expensive clothing is not being an individual.
- You fail basic English courses in high-school, and yet write long blogs with rants about your ex.
- You voted for Bush. Dumbass. Do the world a favour and shoot yourself in the head right now.
- You failed all of your high-school courses and are proud of it because you are just too cool for school, and actually have a chance to become a great actor, model, Artist or POET.
- You really love doing weird things so that people will know you are a unique and beautiful snowflake.
- You will reply to this post calling me an ignorant snow, or something along those lines.
- You want a career in business, administration or what they call "IT" these days.
- You are 100% certain that you are NOT stupid. Actually you're sure you are really smart and creative.
Yeah, there are many other reasons to believe you may be an idiot but I won't list them all. This list was not supposed to be funny or anything, it's not a joke, I actually am annoyed and want something done about this problem.
And I think that stupid people are not born stupid. It's the system that makes them stupid. It does it because stupid people are of benifit to babylon. Stupid people buy stupid things, and want to get rich. Stupid people are easy to fool.
Yes. I know there was no point in wasting my time making this thread and wasting your time reading it. But stupid people just piss me off so much!

Sounds like someone I know on here, so therefore maybe they will be looking at themselves in a stupor because some people are better in certain areas that others are not.
Just because some are rocket scientist or does water sport & go to good schools it does not mean they are better then others not as fortunate 100%.
Only the rich would think about judgemental toughts & people shouldnt care about judgemental toughts about people who dont know what you know & some people think that if they dont think how they think then they are stupid people.
What is a stupid person, Someone thats mentally ill, or someone who didnt graduate from high school, or someone that has a memory lapse or maybe someone who never even seen a college.
A persons brain is very interesting in behaviors.
Stupid people to me are people who judges others to be a stupor.

My opinions on "stupidity"
Prepare yourself for yet another GuitarGuy perspective.
Stupid people, in my opinion, are those who believe they are good enough as they are and therefore don't try to improve or mature. They think they are always correct in both actions and in thinking, and won't listen to others' advice. They are quick to turn down opportunities to learn and grow, because they perceive themselves as having already reached the top. But I also believe these people aren't bound to being stupid; they can change if they'll try. There may come a time when they'll realize that there's a lot more to life than the point they are at. The best we can do for them is to be accepting of them, no matter what stage of "stupidity" or "non-stupidity" they happen to be at. Being hopeful for them is good. Perhaps the last thing we'd want to become are narrow-minded haters who blindly put negative labels on others we don't understand. That would be majorly stupid.
I personally prefer to use the word "foolish" in this case. Everybody has foolish moments; naturally, we tend to do stupid things. Even with our IQs and mental strengths, we may still do dumb things once in a while. What really matters in such a situation is how we respond to it and how we try to improve. I agree with the idea that life is a continual learning cycle that doesn't really stop anywhere. We just have to motivate ourselves to make the necessary adjustments.

Have you seen on my list the points "You have a low IQ" or "You haven't graduated from highschool"? No. Because that doesn't make you stupid, by my definition. It just makes you less intelligent by conventional standards. That's fine by me. Doesn't bother me. A lot of my friends are like that, and I don't consider them to be stupid at all.

I think I would rather subject myself to reading your post as an alternative form of cruel and unusual punishment rather than shoot myself in the head. First of all, Bush is intelligent, no doubt about that, sure he's made a lot of bad mistakes, so has every friggin else, you are probably the kind of person who thinks "i can do it better myself!, LETS VOTE FOR EMINIEM!". You sorry thing.
I'm not smart, but i wouldn't call myself dumb. People have different intelligences, just because they don't share your idea of what is intelligent, what is smart, what isn't stupid.
The fact that you really think that way of other people disturbs me, you call yourself a loving person, that hates dumb people. Riiiiight. By your definition 95 % are dumb. And those who aren't, they deffinetly aren't smarter than you, because you decide whos stupid or not! Can't you see a mistake here, maybe you are the one whos stupid.
I'm not trying to defend the stupid here, but dude.. That was so uncalled for. I dislike "stupid" people aswell, but i can live with them, because they are problemer smarter than me at somethings, the things that they need. Ok they aren't very good in school, oh woopi dee do? Theres more things to life than reading. Some very intelligent people, can be dumb to, i happen to know a few of them, but does that make them of less worth than other people? You've got some kind of racism against dumb people, you see all stupid people as *Blacks* or *Jews*. I don't know what this is called, but heck it's bad.
Now, i've done getting disfumed. Now i can say i agree with you in some points, read it, some. People who think they are godly and aren't, i also dislike those people, but they often learn a lesson and come back to earth where we live, so they needn't my attention.
Oh yeah and then theres the type who thinks everyone is stupid, don't you just hate those people? 
This wasn't meant as a person attack, but i think you should think this whole stupidity thing together..
Btw, i know this guy who became a postman, when he became 27 he all of a sudden became a docter because his younger brother did, this guy had almost all the symptoms you mentioned, and docters are kind of smart, uh? But he took it to himself to get help with his studys, and did it well.. He wasn't the A+ student but he graduated. And he's jerk, times 2.

No, I haven't said that. I said "You are 100% certain that you are NOT stupid." And no, I am not 100% certain I am not stupid. I am very comfortable with the idea that some people may consider me to be unintelligent, and I'm ok with it. I am always ready to question myself, and try to improve when I need to.

And one more time, just being a doctor doesn't make you not-stupid by my standards. And just not being an A+ student doesn't make you smart. Never have I said that I judge people by their grades or IQ. In fact, judging people by their grades or IQ is pretty damn stupid!

I once felt as you do now. I was very angry at the whole world. But then I listened to Insane Clown Posse's song called: "F*** the World!". I still listen to this song when I get angry at people who are stupid as you say. It really makes me feel good. I can't post the lyrics because it has the F*** word 93 times in the song. But like I said in a different thread: If you hate the world as I once did then go to a music concert of your favorite band and then you will feel much better.

Please don't use netspeak. I think it is the same as ghetto speech or vario lingo. Every language in the world has so many different dialects and words that they are each their own infinite beauty. If you think of words like paint brushes with a single color on them then you wouldn't want to paint the same picture over and over would you; with the same color? Wouldn't it be more wondrous to include as many colorful paints in your painting as possible? This makes speaking languages a beautiful art form. Some people simply say profanity over and over painting nothing more than a dull redundant picture with very little color.

This is the lesson to learn from history. I think of biblical Moses when I think of this. I too am living better than many people in the world but I don't have to be arrogant and take it for granted. If you think you have a life that is better than other people then I strongly suggest you go and visit those people. Learn about the poor persons who have almost nothing. Learn from their spirit of courage and hope. Take it with you where ever you go.

I voted for Bush. For some reason I don't take offense to your comment. I feel like you are frustrated and don't understand why people would do such a thing. You should be very proud of this. It does not mean you are a failure. It means you are beginning to define the person you want to be. This is a very good thing. Finding out who the true you is can be a very exciting and enlightening experience.

You are waiting for a bus at a station, but rather than wait in an orderly fashion, you insist on crowding around the entrance doorway. You do not notice the enormous signs around you saying "please que here" or "in the interests of passenger comfort, please let people off the bus before boarding". You insist on standing in that entrance even when the bus arrives, preventing the people leaving the bus from doing so. You also tut when the people getting off the bus ask you to move out of the way. You protest when someone else gets on the bus ahead of you, after all there's only 40 empty seats and 8 people getting on the bus...
Believe me, this happened to me all in one day. I was sorely tempted to get a flamethrower out and improve the gene pool a little...

I couldn't agree with you more, but this has nothing to do with suicide. I was poor for many years of my life, and I can say with complete confidence that there is nothing unhappy about not having money. And yet, this is not only about money. Some kids these days have loving families, friends, everything that they could possibly ask for, and yet they choose out of their own free will to be depressed, angry and suicidal. You need to be happy with whatever you have.

Actually, it is said that only Americans have this as a basic instinct. I don't know if this is true, but I know that I don't. When I don't understand something, I consider it to be my fault.

I agree, not being a quitter is important. This is why I had the whole point about suicide. But the point I am making here is that you shouldn't be proud of failing anything. Failing at something does not mean failing at life, but you should learn from your mistakes rather than say "oh, well, it was not even my fault! I am better than those who didn't fail!". Admitting your mistakes and learning from them is the true path to success.

IYY, I have a shining, glowing example of a conversation between a decidedly intelligent party (though not very wise, I'd say, considering they don't understand the concept of trolling, which they are on the receiving end of) and one of the stupid people you are talking about.

Now did all this get by me???
First of all, I hope you guys can all recognize it when one of us needs to VENT. Clearly that is what IYY was doing. So many of you took it seriously and personally now you have backed IYY into a corner and forced him to justify practically everything he said while venting.
Personally I think that's kind of a bummer. But you guys know how I hate it when people get mad at each other and fight.
It's all a matter of recognizing the purpose of a given communication. Sometimes we are making sound argument with the intent to inform others around us of the information we possess, and persuade them to consider the conclustion we draw from that information.
And sometimes we're just pissed off and need to say it out loud in a (presumably) safe place. I think IYY has been around an awful long time, has shown himself to be a steady, highly contributive member of the group -- a lot longer than many of us, in fact. So, hasn't he earned the right to rant to us, kindalike family members?
Sometimes, when someone is just frustrated, it's better to just stand by and nodd, and say, "MMM HMMM. Uh Huh." And -- "Oh, I know" on the parts when you agree with them. You know they're upset just saying what's on their mind whether it's going to be persuasive or not, and trying to argue with them while they're speaking their emotions isn't always a good idea.
It's an honest form of expression, and while sometimes I suppose one who vents publicly and says things that could describe nearly all of us at some point, and while maybe for that reason this isn't the best place to vent, perhaps we should support him and let the winds die down a bit before getting all serious and defensive on him. I mean we can define our own level of tolerance here, can't we? I'm voting for a higher degree of tolerance based on the motivation, which was to throw a couple of coffee cups at the wall in a literary sense.
So, that all being said, Iyy, can you talk for a post about what it was that particular day that happened and made you want to start the thread? Or is it past now? I mean it's not like I don't share your frustration. But my take is that you wanted to express some deep feeling of frustration, not persuade anybody necessarily. (This is not to say your frustration over this all has passed, just maybe your need to express anger over it) And hey, you gotta admit, everybody -- at least everybody in the Western World -- shows some of the tendencies you described at some point in their lives, right? We all have times of confusion and being led astray and doing dumb things and whatnot. But our perspectives change over time, hopefully, and we all continue to grow, like the guys here have said.
It's just that sometimes it seems like the ones who are "early in the growing process" as I might put it are the ones who have the majority vote and control over the market, including the world market. That's why I said I share your frustration.
That example thread between the "hillibilliy" and the "erudite jerk" was beautiful. But man, the picture has to go. It's disturbing. Too many kids on this board, know what I mean???
