Runescape
Granted nothings perfect, this game is really surprising to be a freebased MMORPG. There are paying members but the free game is huge.
Anyways, if anyone plays my name is Celfious. Message me because i have a lot to give and a lot to learn. I wouldnt start a guild, but I have a lot of ideas of how to be survivalists and making tasks easier.

Runescape's fun, but i'm finding it hard to earn money on it. Pitiful right? anyways, my name is dragonsoul28 and I usually go to world 13. Lvl 40, btw. add me! ^_^

OK done.. . I found a way to earn gold (like 7k every 8 minutes) but im gonna go kill people and get a nice collection of armour and weapons so I can afford to lose

Bump...
I was much into the matrix online when beta was out. I was interested in gaining str, power, and influence, but I've decided to move into runescape for the mean time. Actualy, I have not played much at all in the past 6 months. Yet I log in and most players appear as neon green -indicating low level threat to me by combat level-.
As soon as these computers are running smoothly and I can log back into RS I will, and I'll welcome newcomers with misc gifts of IE: mitheral armour, runes, gold, and/or information.
This is a free or pay to play game. Graphics never mattered to me much. What I love most about this game is (starts to think)
Ok.
The charachter development aspect of RPGs is always a big factor on my acceptance list. In RS, the character development of RS is long, rewarding, strenuous, and seemingly continuous.

There is a way of earning 15-500K per minute in RS on F2P shard 
What you do is:
1) get the lowest possible comat level while maximizing your damage.
2) Go to wildy and kill people, or wait for them to attack you if they don't have a skull.
3) Collect the loot. I usually get at least a rune skimi per kill, but it is possible to get full trimmed rune plate
Now - here is how you acheive step #1:
On low levels (1-25 or so) make a mage, your only skill will be magery. If you train magery off weakness, curse and other non-damaging spells you won't gain any health. You will do 16 max damage around level 20-25!!! 1-2 shots and they r dead. Why don't you need a lot of hps? Because you will attack first from far away and kill them before they know what hit them. 17 or so HPs should be enough (since this is 1 point more than anyone can do at your level).
On higher levels you can switch to an archer or a warrior (but not both! since you don't want too much health).
Good stats for a level 25-40 warrior are:
40 att, 1 def, rest = strength. You can't really avoid gaining health as a warrior.
40+ warrior is best with 43 prayer, 40 att, 1 def, rest = strength. 43 prayer will compensate for low defense and will let you use +15% str and +15% attack prayers (use your prayer points wisely - 43 points run out fast and you don't want to be stuck in a level 30 wildy without it).
There are 2 weapons worth mentioning:
Rune skimi - fast and deals very good damage. It deals the most damage/second (my personal favorite).
Rune axe - average speed but bigger total damage. Less damage/second, it is good for killing people who aren't watching their health.
Of course, you can gain defense and health if you want, but once you reach level 70+, you can forget about making money off pking. You will never kill anyone. Everyone will wear full rune plate, everyone will have protection and everyone will teleport once they run out of food.
If anyone is interested in pking together or needs a lil help - add ebalex, ebalex1 and ebalex2 to your friends list. Ebalex2 is my main guy - level 56, 18 dmg with skimi/21 (or 22?) with the axe/16 dmg with spells. Spells may sound inferior because of slow firing rate and low damage, but they are my only way of killing people in full rune.

I play too, in the members area though. I use my Husband's online nick 'Yawacko' , I'm level 83, or maybe 84 now? can't recall

ill be a member again eventualy... I'm waiting to get a new labtop then probably escaape from reality for a month or two.. -im tired-
I have a line of goals I need to accomplish before I start making quick and easy cash. The outcome of my path is A: Having a high combat level (100's) and player killing making people sad as I once was :[ they will get over it..
ANd also highalching magicbow longs.

Sadly, I don't play anymore. I've found other mmorpgs that I like much more. Right now I'm really into Conquer Online. Check it out! It takes a lot of computer memory, though.

Nononono, you got it all wrong, it isn't about having level 100. It is all about exploiting bugs (or features???!!!). Get 1-2 friends to come with you, go to a SINGLE COMBAT area and gank people. Yep, that's what I said, GANK them in SINGLE COMBAT area. Archery or magic are the best. You shoot, step, 1-st friend shoots, steps, 2-nd friend shoots, steps. Rinse and repeat. If done correctly, the guy will never get to hit any of you, and you will shoot him down without him ever getting a chance to fight back. Awesome, right? At least in multi combat he can attack one of you while getting damaged by the gank. In single area, he will keep getting "you are already fighting someone else" while getting damaged by all 2 or 3 of you.
Gotta love RS development team that hasn't fixed this for years and doesn't seem to want to do it in the future. And after playing this weekend I remembered exactly why I quit it.
Another reason I quit was the overall maturity level. Most RS players seem to be 15-yr old boys with strong antisocial trends. There are exceptions (I am assuming all people on this board are , but unfortunately there aren't many of them.
