Pandora's Guide to...
Ok, so it's not actually a guide. It just seemed that everyone else had a guide, so I thought I'd start out that way so's to not miss out on any fun.
Anyways, I thought I'd tell you about the night I had, and see if any of you might be able to help me... here it is...
I sat looking out the window of my Mod Headquarters office, happily munching on a donut when a strange chill crept into the air. Perturbed by the disturbance i hopped down from where I sat perched upon the windowsill, and decided to take a look around.
My first stop was the Turban Tribunal. Djive was mindfully watching, and all seemed well there. He saw me creeping by and tried to hand me a mop "Nope, not cleaning tonite friend!" I called back, "something strange is afoot - and I mean to find out what it is!". Djive nodded, seemed he could feel it too.
From there I went to the Volcanic Wastelands, the wind whipped through my hair and I had to take up my shield to protect myself from the hundreds of empty cans of spam that kept flying past. "Is everything okay here?" I called into the howling wind, trying desperately to hold up my shield while at the same time plugging my nose with my other hand against the awful stench of the spam. The wind carried back only one reply "Chiiiiiilllll Ooooouuut!" it said, I nodded, good enough for me.
As i passed the Otherside of the monitor, i heard a crazed cackling "Aha! This must be what I felt earlier!" I quickly ran in to surprise my foe, but alas. i was mistaken. It was only Consis, on a mad mission to steal as many smilies as he could find and decorate the entire Otherside with them. Bort had grabbed one of the smilies -it was a happy face beating another happy face with a a stick-, he stole that stick and began to beat Consis with it. Consis was quick tho. He made his getaway and I promptly followed...
Next I went to the Bard's Glade - "ACK! blindness! green and orange everywhere! for the love of all things holy who would do such a thing?!" yelping in pain, I left the Bard's Glade as quickly as I could. Feeling a bit distraught over my lack of eyesight, I decided to hit the Tavern last, that way when I was done my rounds I could grab a Tossbeeer in Tosser's Tavern.
I passed by the Library - quiet as usual. Then the mapmaker's guild... hey I've never been here before! I took a quick look around, feeling it was all in order I left there too, making a mental note to pop back in later. The Lands of Axeoth too, seemed to be in order - and yet my feeling of unrest was starting to grow stronger. Hmm.. I knew the Other Games Exist too forum was fine, it still had that new board smell - and Mighty Mage and Asmodean were always bustling about to keep it tidy.
I went on to the WoG forum, I quickly became entangled in all the stickies and feared i was trapped forever when luckily Kitten came by to save me. Scary stuff tho *whew* Finally I arrived at the ToH board, seems that Consis tried to hide out there to escape Bort's smiley stick.. but now the ToHers were upon him and beating him quite soundly. I shrugged.. seemed everything was normal there too!
So I decided to go back to the Tavern now, and I saw him! He was a giant sluglike thing... eyeing me lazily across the room. I raised my Mod-Shield in self defense, flinching as the creature made its move... no wait.. he just shifted slightly to scratch his butt. "Ewww" I cried; in reply the thing just smiled in a rather smarmy way. *why is it smiling?* i wondered fearfully... "EWWWWWW!!" i cried again, as the rotted stench hit my nose. The creature started to laugh, then settled back in its corner sleepily.
"You can't defeat me stupid mod-girl!" It sneered, punctuating its reply with a loud and rather ripe smelling belch "All the spam is going to the Wastelands, the deep conversations to the Otherside... even talk of Other Games has found a new home! There is nothing left to defeat me! With each mirror thread that is created here I grow stronger! It will take pure genious and creativity to thwart me - and yes, you have knights on your side. One of whom I hate so much (because he is beautiful) - but it's not enough! I will grow and grow until I own this entire Tavern"
I shivered fearfully at his words, the unfortunate ring of truth sounding in my ears.
This creature's name is boredom - are there any among you who will help me to defeat him?

Pandora, what you say is sad, but true.
And of corse I will help you defeat the ugly Monster of Boredom as I felt his presence harshly in RL the last time I spent my vacation there...
And I, too felt an ugly chill last night while sitting in my room in the Tavern, srawing some Mink-pictures for the GoP, though I blamed the whether for it...
I shall raise an army of undead and call upon the Minks for help. Never wel will let Boredom take over this beautifull space, never shall ugly monsters claim leadership over us!
Have my Staff, if you will!

Thanks guys, all your help is so appreciated! Of course, to really help tho, you'll have to leave this thread and create new Quality threads - its the only way to weaken the beast! Lichy, I know you have it in you! Rather than award with a star i may even deem ya snuggleworthy 
I think Mink can be a formidable help in taking down the Boredom monster - Thanks for the banner Daddy I love it!
And hey, Thank You for my star! I haven't gotten one in a while *tucks the star in her pocket and pats it happily*
About the French Connection, indeed I am very excited Mario is my favorite player of all time, having two young stars with him is very very cool indeed! We'll have to wait till the games start to see what the lines are tho! /hockeytalk

Quite true indeed; Toh'ers beating me in mob-fashion; bort taking the same stick and letting loose on me with it; all true.
What you failed to realize was that I went through and deleted every post I ever made in ToH. I wouldn't hide out in there if my life depended on it. ToH should be renamed to T.O.C.S. "Tournament of Consis Slapping".
Fun story Pandora, and I'm still not done stealing all of your smilies. I'm sorry but I love them too much.

Before I used to cut the boredom by mentioning real life episodes that can become interesting like exp with certain circumstances & dreams & talking about life & all hehe.

And I'm not one to slap you around, maybe because my cardboard box is smaller than yours by two stories, and the wheels are in worse shape than ever, but there has too much boredom here, and we need more fun. Has anyone got hacky sack around here? Or perhaps even a monopoly board even. Or maybe a pack of Italian playing cards to play Briscola with? I just need my fix.
