A.I. is dumb ?
Most people would say that playing against the computer is no challenge.
This is generally true but occasionally crazy things happen.
Like this one time when i was playing the final part of Spoils of War on the ROE campagne.
Just when i thought i had it wrapped up i ran into the main
hero with stats in the 30s with over 5000 chaos hydras.
Nothing i could do.
If anyone else has had similar experiences and any ideas on how you would defeat an army consisting of 5000 chaos hydras
( on open ground ) i would very much like to hear about it.

That's a glitch.
And even if it isn't AI would still be dumb. It'll play dumb no matter if it has 1 imp or 5000 hydras.
Ok, with 1 imp everyone can win everything.

that sounds like the legion bug, the way to fix that is to upgrade to 1.4 (assuming u got just ROE 1.0)

Its just a game bug. Dont blame heroze3 AI, cuz its very good (not great but..)

The Heroes 3 AI was a tactical genius compared to the Heroes 4 AI. I mean, i'm playing a scenario on the second last setting and i don't see a glimpse of the enemy until the third month. jesus, there's more challenge in the wandering monster stacks than in the enemy heroes. Seriously, how can the AI be getting worse?

Yea , this sucks. But i've discovered that h3 computer opponents is very aggresive in day 6, IMO its a biggest chance he would attack your castle or your main unit in that day.
