Wog Map Help?

I have a little experience making maps for Homm3, but lately after having made a wogified map, certain features such as commanders and 8th level upgrades for 7th level creatures quits working, after the game has been saved and then re-started later on. Plus some of the other Wog scripts stop running as well (ie, Arcane Tower, Battle Academy and so on). Any ideas? Thanks.
I have v 3.57f installed with Homm3 Complete

Okay. How exactly have you set up your map? Do you have ERM scripts located in your timed events? Or are you just selecting options in the WoG Options pages? And if so, are you changing the options at any time before you load the saved game?

I start by making a random map in Homm3 complete, and the open it in the Wog Editor. From there I add the scripts into the global timed events. Then I save the game prefacing the map name with "wogify".(wogify_mapname). After loading the new map it then goes through the wogify process and then brings up the two pages refering to modifications to the rules. I choose only that 7th level creatures can be upgraded and one other that I can't recall right now.

Are you adding the scripts to the map that are the same ones that are in the wogify menu?  If so that might be the problem since they are loading 2 times.  Just a guess I am not much on ERM.  Have you tried sending the save and the map to Fnord?  He would know more than anyone I figure.

Thanks for that Gangrail. I will mail the files to Fnord, to see if maybe your idea, is what's causing the scenario to fall over.

Gangrail,
As you suggested I tried to e-mail Fnord about the game files, but it failed twice. Any suggestions, or is there any way you can contact Fnord for me. Thanks.

My line of thinking to your problem, is if you have added scripts to your map, then things like arcane tower, taven card game, School of Wizardry and so forth, won't work. Because now, you have created an ERM map. For all the stuff you want to work, it may be just best to get rid of the scripts in the timed events, or put the scripts of the objects you want to work in the timed events. Also. look in the ERM help section, and that should show you how to add Commanders to your custom map. Also, now, you don't have to add WoGify_ to your WoG maps anymore... They'll work as WoG maps once you add WoG objects to the map. I hope this helps you.

Thanks ByteBandit. I will try a new random map over the next few days, leave out the scripts for the timed events and see how it goes. I will let you know how I get on.
