Are our ideas secure?
Are you ppl stealing ideas? Are you gonna make games one day using other ppls ideas?
I just want to say to ya'llz., that if you cant come up with some ideas of your own sometimes, using other ppls will turn out to be a crappy game!
Example
Person D, is on his own idea path, I'm on my own, ect..
And well, combining paths takes alot more work than stealing ideas
Paths have to work together, and alot of us wouldn't work with eachother on twisting paths. (I know I would, but ill be damed everytime someone says somthin- if it's not in other ppls minds they dismiss it which is bs)
But I'm serious, how much securityy do we have in here??
I think there should be a sticky thread for ppl who might be game developers or simply future gamemakers, so they know what we think about them using our place to find ideas. CCuz str8 up i dont talk half as much cuz i worry that either yall, or someone else will use my mind one day without paying me.
(oh oh wait.. this dosnt twist into someones beliefs.. so its already written off. dont try to make it work, dont even waste time thinking right? )

I'm no expert in these issues, though I'd say your chances of winning if a conflict arises are slim.

Actually I would like it if NWC read our ideas and actually used some of them. I know we wouldn't get paid but at least future games would be more to our liking.

no lol.. how about leave a note for them if they come for ideas, then they know we can start talking more in their direction of interest, and definately willing to recieve tips but they would need a place to give us a start.

I want my ideas to be stolen. Any of my ideas. If you think they are good enough to imitate, I'm quite proud. Ideas should be free.

But I have to agree that developers who use the ideas here should at least give credit where credit is due. No matter whether this is a public forum or not, taking other people's ideas and passing them for your own is plagiarism (which is often referred to as the most severe acadamic crime).

Celfious.. if you allow someone to steal your idea you have
1. blabber talked too much when you shouldnt have
2. Not protected your idea
so you dont have to worry.
If you never tell anyone about the idea,
or protect it.. then they cant steal it
