can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance.
Only in America...
are there handicap parking places in front of a skating rink.
Only in America...
do banks leave both doors open but chain the pens to the counters.
Only in America...
do people order double cheese burgers, a large fry, and a "diet" coke.
Only in America...
do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and leave useless things and junk in boxes in the garage.
Only in America...
do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place.
Only in America...
do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.
Only in America...
do we use the word "politics" to describe the process so well: "Poli" in latin meaning "many" and "tics" meaning "blood-sucking creatures".

I don't mind that an ambulance takes longer than a pizza so long as they bring one with them.
As for the rest... I'd think any country with handicap parking would have city codes requiring it in every parking lot. A guy in a wheel chair, or a grandpa using a walker still might watch someone skate.

I just realised the reason why buns come in packs of eight and hotdogs come in packs of ten...
Once you have finished the eight buns, you still have 2 hotdogs left. That means you need to buy more buns. Once those two hotdogs are gone, you still have 6 buns left.
It's like a never ending cycle of hotdogs. Whoever thought this up is a genious!
btw, do people have any of these, but for other countries too?

About the phone call caller I.D one.
If you had a hard time paying bills then you would do the same.
Man those bill collectors will harrass you & call you everyday more then Gormans peeping Toms new Binoculars
Then again if you dont leave your # on the I.D or a message, then it must of not been all that important
