Losing the Grail
In multiplayer in HOMM3, my hero surrendered from combat with the grail. It then disappeared. Where did it go? My opponent did not get it and when I rehired the hero it was gone. Help!

If you have the Grail and Surrender or Retreat you automatically lose the grail. Sorry

What do you mean where does it go? It goes no where at all.
If you're trying to get it back to a castle fast, just chain it, or else you'll lose it.

Where does your hero go, when you lose a battle?
Where do the artifacts/spell scrolls go, when you sell them in an artifacts merchant?
Where do the units from your castle go, when there is a plague?
Questions over questions for which you canīt find a correct answer, but is it really that important?
