wog campaign - the samaritan
i am on the third part, know where the gloves are but when I get them I am dead. what am I doing wrong?

I Can't Get Past the 1st Scenario!
I keep running into bad things in the maze.
I just have no patience with the "you've stumbled into an ambush, you're in deep doo doo" seemingly no matter which way I turn.
Plus getting teleported all over the place, so I never know where to save without being totally screwed.

Do you have the bunch of elves with you? Cuz you have to kill all the grems in the maze.

You should have 11 or so. When you start, you go back to the shipwreck and save your crew.

Hmm,
That makes sense.
I was wondering about that because I thought I had done all I was supposed to do.
I only had 1 elf myself.

Erm Errors in 2nd map
I'm getting error messages such as "Erm Line3 5146, "HE$" out of range (cannot find hero), etc. for Blue and Purple.
is there something I should have in another sub directory somewhere?
(I had a similar problem with Gelu's Legacy and ended up having to move a couple of files around)

I finished Samaritan without any errors, but that was a while ago (dun remember which wog version)

If you've downloaded the map with the rest of WoG, I think not (in other words, all files should have been copied when you installed the mod). It is possible you had to do that in case you downloaded the campaign only. If so, check out the zipped file.
Finally, there might be an updated version of he scenario...

Ah, but the instruction says you have to unpack those .pcx files to your Maps folder!

You can go here http://www.strategyplanet.com/homm/camelot/ and go to the WoG download section. It has the newest updates of all the campaigns. If those do not fix your problems then the campaign is not fixed yet. Let me know what happens.

You get those 10 Wood Elves. With them combined with the Magic Arrow, or Bless you can defeat the Gremlins easily

I can't pass the "glove part"
Hey, I am at the part where you get the gloves, bring them to that man in the hut, and he defeats some rogues. Now my enemy is 200 rogues against 6 grand elfs of mine. Is there another way to beat them or what?
Please, tell me.

Talk to all peasants, you will be able to get a plant to
get rid of most rogues. However, it is STILL too MANY (about 7 or 8 times 29) still cant get through ? Anything I am missing (I got 11 elves, not enough).

exactly. i'm also stuck here...
the fairie suggests I should look for her 'sisters' in the the northern forest, to get help
but I can't find them.

Finally found them myself, the green trees near the pixie, try going there or clicking on any of the accessible places, you will eventually click/reach the spot where reinforcements are available. Took a while to find it since it was not obvious there was anything there.
