Editing unit stats in H3?

Does anyone know if its possible (without too much work) to edit the raw stats of units of the various sides? (Att, def, HP, cost etc.)

This *should* only be a table somewhere in the data, but I'm not h4x0r enough to extract it from the basic H3 files...

I found WoG... but I cannot seem to find a manual or how-to of any kind. Do I have to write ERM scripts to fix this? I saw in the bug reports section for WoG that a table with the unit stats might be slightly skewed, so there should be one, but I can't find that either.

@ ERIAN

Download (or get it from anywhere) all the ERM tools and Monster Statistics Editor from www.fileplanet.com. Then you'll have the ability to edit the stats.

You can add some specialties, but not all of them. For example, it takes two lines to add double strike and no retaliation... Generally, those with graphics would cause you problems. However, it's obviously possible since the WoG team created Commanders with nearly special skills(except poison and disease, I think).

Iīm sorry for such a n00b question, but in what folder should I put the script after editing the monsterīs stats? And must the map be WoGified in order to get it working?

go to your Heroes folder, open the 'Data' folder there. keep it open and open the 'text resource copy' folder inside it. copy the 'crexpbon.txt' file from 'test resource copy' folder to 'data' folder. read the file 'stack experience bonus' to learn how to modify 'crexpbon.txt'. this lets you give creatures all kinds of new stats and abilities.
