I've downloaded a huge amount of maps and campaigns from russian server. But... everything is written in russian language (doesn't matter, I understand it) but english version of HOMM 4 doesn't support russian font and shows only trash letters instead of azbuka's. Is there any possibility to upgrade english version to 'accept' russian maps?

yes there is a solution but unles you are using cyrllic (azbuka) I dont recommend you do it.
I can e-mail you a system font for windows. then you will be able to see the actual cyrillic letters. No help to you I guess. I you want to read it in englsh - they have to be translated and typed in latin letters first.
I have the cyrilic fonts installed. So I have to rewrite the story in some text editor to latin to see it in HOMaM?
