Roleplaying - wuzzat?
I've had an interesting conversation on AIM about RPing, me being GreatWahooney. Here's part of the convo...
partack1: i think its silly =P
GreatWahooney: what is?
partack1: RPing
GreatWahooney: it's not silly
GreatWahooney: just satanic and evil
GreatWahooney: and it disrupts kids' sense of
reality
GreatWahooney: but that's it
partack1: lol
GreatWahooney: and it's kinda expensive, what
with the sacrificing of goats and such
partack1: lol yeah, i can imagine =P
GreatWahooney: and it's not that easy to get a
really good goat, mind you
partack1: lol
partack1: who hand picks them? the gamemaster or
the players? =P
GreatWahooney: all of them
GreatWahooney: that's why online RPing is so
tricky
partack1: ahhh i see, a debate hm?
GreatWahooney: what debate?
partack1: a debate on whos goat is the bestest for the
sacrifice
GreatWahooney: no
GreatWahooney: in that case, everyone must
have a part of one and the same goat
GreatWahooney: everyone must be involved
GreatWahooney: everyone participating that is

GreatWahooney: also, it's kinda troublesome to
smuggle a goat to 3rd floor and then sacrifice it
without leaving blood stains on the carpet
partack1: lol
partack1: ahh yes.. that msut be hard..
GreatWahooney: my mom doesn't approve of
keeping livestock at home, see
partack1: see? i would never have thaught of all these
cool problem solvign activites involved with RPing.
GreatWahooney: the goat must be sacrificed so
that Belzebub doesn't trap you in the fictional
world
GreatWahooney: see, you'd want to be back till
dinner time in most cases

Yup! That is a very interesting topic to debate. RPGing can get really complicated, and our friend here proves it!
