Of course the genies will win.
If 1 on 1, then of course efreet will win!!

genies should win even a 1 on 1: efreet speed = 6, genie speed = 7 --> genie starts and casts slow. after that, hide'n'seek with occasional ice bolt hitting efreet. after first 2 icebolts genie can even cast cowardice to on efreet to feel really safe.

LOL, Sly.

Cowardice -- makes the target unable to attack units with higher total HP.

This would have no effect with genies.

Anyway, I think it depends who starts.

If Efreet - he'll win,
If Genie - genie will win.

Also, it matters of quantity.

if morale is out of issue, genie always starts -- 7 > 6.

as for cowardice, its useful only after the efreet has been  punished by 2 icebolts and has 46 HP left = less than genie's 60

but if there are two stacks of efreeti, genies will be in trouble because there wont be enough space to outmaneuvre them.

no, you misunderstood me.

Cowardice -- makes ... higher total HP

So it means no the HP left, but the total 90>60. I know that very well, because it is a darn thing when I try to do that.

Genies can create illusions of Efreet.

So eventually it would be efreet vs efreet + genie.

Genies would definately win.

Although i like efreet more, i believe genies would win due to their spellcasting abilities. If used properly you could take out all the efreet without even getting hit once. What are Machine Dragons? Do you mean Dragon Goloms or Mega Dragons?

Yes, I think he means the Dragon Golem. It's the closest in stats to the Hydra, plus the No Retaliation ability. Hm, altough Hydras are my favs, I think DG is better, because of his mechanical abillities.

Genies vs Efreeti?

Genies always win, no matter what.

Hydras vs Dragon Golems?

Hmmm... One week's population of DGs can win a weeks' population of Hydras if they are all in 1 stack.

But, if 2 Dragon Golems in 2 stacks vs 2 Hydras in 2 stacks,

Hydras win.

The more genies there are, the greater their advantage.

The 1-on-1 fight is winnable if the genie thinks fast and pulls some stunts.  Slow is essential.  It takes a single genie 5 icebolts to kill a single efreet.  It takes a single efreet only about 3 direct hits + fire shield damage to kill a single genie, and an unslowed efreet can be in the genie's face in the second round.

An illusion will not work:
[Edit: Picture of hapless genie "not powerful enough" to make an illusion of an angry efreet]
Cowardice will work:
[Edit: Picture of an efreet too chicken to attack a gloating genie.]

Edit:
An additional note -- both the growth rate and neutral stacks of genies are larger than the growth and stacks of efreet, so the game considers a one-on-one fight to be in favor of the efreet.  Interesting...

Everyone has probably seen the pictures by now, so I took them out so I can delete them from my webpublishing folder.  Descriptions added instead.

The last war... or is it?

Round 1:   Lord and Wizard vs. Thief and Sorcerer.
A war between heros.

Round 2:   Halfing and Magi vs. Orc and Medusa
A war between shooters. (Magi is sort of a shooter)

Round 3:   Bandits and Nightmares vs.  Dwarves and Nagas
A " 1 n' 3"  war.

Round 4:   Efreeti and Minotaur vs.  Genie and Golem
A " 3 n' 2" war.

Round 5:   B. Dragon and Hydra vs. Dragon G. and Titan.
The final war of the 5's.

There will be war between Life and Death on this post.

I don't this can be accurate considering, Heroes are all trained differently and it depends on the Spells and Skills that they have.

It depends on who starts first, and what spells the heroes have. If Mage (pure class; wizard has order and chaos magic) manages to cast a spell Hypnotize first, he can get the Chaos heroes to commit suicide. If the Sorcerer manages to kill the Mage before the Mage does anything (Armageddon, anyone?), the Chaos heroes will win.
BTW, are the heroes pure classes or are they mixed with a bit of some other skill?
