Another Important Issue
The top clans from past seasons deserve some sort of head start or bonus? What do you think? Some reward for being on top....

for bonuses i'd sugesst nothing can involve free experience such as : treasure chests, learning stones, dreamteachers etc. they would break the balance of the first week which is , most of the time, decisive.
---could be stacks of creatures (according to xp points table) and depending on clan level , up to level 4 .
----maybe some gold artix will be helpful (or gold mines guarded/abandoned depending on the level)
----even one single tree will be ok, cause i believe no one will spend resources to take it ealier in the game, and in advanced game wouldn't have such a poweul impact.
---NOTHING that can affect passability on adventure map (i mean fixed structure)
--- could be also creatures controlled by player somewhere on the map, at some spots of owner choice , placed in a garrisson (without possibility to leave it), to create difficulties to opponent
---if you want to give minors or treasures artix as starting bonus we should discus here a list of them, to agree upon those who won't ruin the game (e.g. mind shield)
---could be some structures like arenas that can provide some fixed skills (depending on the clan level)
e.g.
war arena having only nob. skills for level 1
2 nob skills 2 combat skills for level 2
2 nob. skills 1 combat skill, 1 scout skill for l3
it's just an example. will be tuned up if you suggest something like this
---some extra town structures built in the main town (mage guild, libraries etc.) . of course, NO EXTRA TAVERN.

i don't think so, let's have a totally fresh start, to avoid frustrations or some "uneasiness" to play those clans.

however, i think some bonus, even if small is appropriate..
could be: medicine wagon, treasure chest, random treasure, random altar..blahballhabla

i think clans sound great ves. with the bounse for more tribe wars played and that i say it will keep H3 alive again. but bounes cant be to stong i dont think. i like the 3 people per clan also.

will there be any limits on who can be in a clan? if not, i fear an all emperor clan will happen again, maybe 2 
all emperor clans seems bit cheesy to me.. i mean clans would still be some fun, but it'd be nice for other clans to at least have a chance

Straight out of Clan Rules
Clan Rules & Information
Membership & Recruiting
Footmen and higher rank may participate in clans. A clan is only opened by a Squire or higher rank with 2 teammates (totalling maximum 3 members per clan). This player becomes the clan leader, and must submit a clanname, and choice of philosophy/clan, along with list of members. Register your clan Here, once you have read all the rules below. The 3 teammates must be Baron ranked or lower at time of registraton.

Just want to point out, that that rules protects nothing since Teacher - Gustn - Valky - TC_Fear etc etc were all Emperors and they are now recruits etc. So 3 of them could start a clan and be 3 squires but we all know they are of Emperor talent.
Just playing a little devils advocate here.

jinxer is right about the rankings, but i guess won't be a problem,at least concerning me. I decided to pick some noobs to train in clans , and i believe the players who have in mind starting a clan will make a fair decision regarding the team mates.
unfortunatelly , clans thing will not start immediatelly after toh opening since we are all recruits, need some time to get to squires, and this time will be tougher, people learnt the damn game

well i have no problems with having no restrictions on who can be in a clan, if people are going to be honorable..
but yeah ves, dont give us that s_hit lol, "all players must be baron or lower" does nothing at all unless it's a season 1. and even then, look what happened..

If I repeat myself again... clans will not go rule crazy with parameters and such. Keep it simple. In fact this upcoming clans is a little less complex than the last one. (With the exception of how h3 and h4 clans will interact).

Oh yes... another reminder for leutions
If you are a highly skilled player, good at winning and have supreme tactical skill, I would think that should be rewarded, not punished right? The whole idea of competition is to see what clan/individual will rule above others, right?
Otherwise, simply play for 'fun' and report your winloss for recordkeeping on ToH main. Clans is for competition.

as for who teams whom..
we all know each other skill, more or less
a 2-3 ex-emperor clan will only lead to noone challenging them and eventually weakening tournament.. and noone wants that i guess,, hope
aid it: me and balcough agreed on sticking .. now if karim still wants in we re 3 alrdy
