What do you think about Diplomacy?

Should Diplomacy be used in a multiplayer game - given that others can play Necro and have so many skellies - to improve the difficulty and other aspects of the game?

What about spells made to steal like Fly or others spells?

The new expansion, (not that new for many) if I can say so, WoG 3.57 has options of banning spells, artifacts and skills, but also much more than a normal H3 player can like.

Diplomacy is ok. Some may say that you gain troops without giving any money. But as long as ( in my opinion, does not unbalance the game ) is ok

I think diplomacy is a great skill. I have gained massive armies by that skill and it is great. I think they should use it.

Well, most veterans would say something like this: Diplo has nothing to do with skil of the game. Any fool can win with playing diplo.
With Necro there is SOME skil involved, but dip is all about massive joiners.

But being the n00b that I am, I like a dip-game every 20-30 games, just for a change hehe

Yeah what Kuma said.
I also play the occaisional DIPLO war .. but that's it.
Diplo is WAY to powerful for any "random" map.

On most fixed map diplo doesn't help u that much since most interesting monster stacks will be set to savage!@

Being the newbie I am, I just think that Diplo is great!     And speaking of  which, I have a question: Have the  "hostility  values"  for each creature (that is: the credib ility of certain wandering creatures joining certain army  line-ups) ever been published anywhere? Like a  schedule saying "An obviously  weaker Rampart  creatu re stack will join  a predominantly  Tower army so-and- so many percent of the times " etc. etc?

Or else,  just a  rough  estimate. Like these questions: Are Dungeon creatures more hostile to Rampart than to, say, Stronghold or  Inferno (like it could be imagined). And similarly: Are chances to have a Tower creature stack join a predominatly Castle army bigger than the chances of a Tower creature stack  joining Stronghold, Dungeon or Inferno armies?  What is more and less hostile to what ?

Thanks a lot, guys: Following this community at a distance has already  taught me so much!  Though I readily admit that I still havenīt l earned enough  to be able to even imagine playing a game without Diplo -- that is: Without  Adela, Cyra, or Ryland from the start....

The only town related thing counted is wether the army is native to the unit or no.

Diplomacy

WHy not diplomacy?! It's OK! after all teh major reason you have it is to get more monsters to join you, right?

well, after a couple of months when the game getting serious all monster are as good as gone (at least when I play)

Then it's the surrender stuff that you can relay on. Pretty good after all i think

This skill is very dependapble on map size and neutrals strongness BTW its usefull most cases

it's an overpowered skil :\

If you play with another player that's decent on random maps, diplomacy is waay too good.
