well growth per week is 2...but 2 wouldn't show as much difference I wouldn't think

Hmmm. Then you should give the building a castle. Maybe wait a few weeks instead of one. But make sure that the numbers of units are equivalent to their individual strength. Oh, BTW, great job!

A Black Dragon is in no way equivalent to to a Imp, but it is balanced (well not really, but this is just an example) by the fact that you get hundreds of imps each week, but you only get 1-2 dragons each week. It should be the same way with the lvl 7s. Make the number of creatures depend on how many you get per week. Or several weeks.

Isn´t the growth of ALL Lev7 units (except phoenix) per week the same???
So if u take 2 or 3, their will be not much difference to 1 each.
I saw a testing on the internet with 50 units each (one stack)....the results were completely different to yours.
The AA´s won every fight. The ghosties won only 1 (against hydras).
And to make sure, the results will be fair (some units get moral, others don´t), make these fights with two heroes and DON´T give them the spirit of obsession each, coz that would be unfait towards the AA´s, coz + 1 moral is a speciality of them and u would "steal" this!!
Try to set the moral of the unit the hero has to neutral (visit a defeated crypt before fight and carry some arties to neutrialize the 1 or 2 points of bad moral).

ok that sounds fair. But while I am at it I might as well separate the AA's because I would be "stealing" their rezz ability.

...and the two hex attack of the dragons?
...and the multiple attack of the hydras?
...and the -1 moral when fighting against ghosties?
That will lead to no end me thinks...
When u splitt the AA´s in two stacks, i´m sure they are unbeatable through any other Lev7 unit on the same amount.

Even without morale AA can beat AB, it depends. If AA waits by taking defense then AA wins AB. AA can win by taking defense, also AB can win by taking defense.

And what about phonixes?
Why did you leave them out?
I think they would win againts anyone. First you should have two of them (becouse of their growth), but even if you use just one, i think it would win. It has resurection and a first turn always.

Well, I think KoM has done a great jorb here, but once again it is an endless discussion. 3do has done a great job by balancing _all_ the castles ...
So all the creatures have their mins and plusses, and it is up to the player to evade the minusses and use the plusses as much as possible ...
Other than that, I'm verry surprised by the stronghold ...
I allways thought they sucked big time because all their creatures have a serious lack of Def.
Furthermore: if you are gonna do more tests an other factor could be the fact how quick you can buy the building. If I'm not mistaking you can buy the Beh. layer in the first week while if you manage to do that with a dragon layer: thumbs up

Normaly u can build lev7 dwelling in every town first week (at least if u play max. 130%)...

a test like this means nothing, how often do you fight 1 lvl 7 unit against another in a real battle?
Off course the ancient beth would be the best since its the best might creature lol. But what if both heroes had a 1k implosion then? then the black drags would win every fight lol.
lol.
dont mind me.. you keep your doing your toss tests, next up im sure youll try and tell me that dendroids is the best lvl 5 unit

SS I dunno what's up with that. I was just running some tests because ppl kept arguing. I never said 1 lvl 7 would fight 1 other lvl 7. I don't know why every1 is so suprised that the AB's won. And as for the AA/AB fight, the AA's couldn't have won even if they defended. AA's would be wasting an attacking turn. They would be wasting it even more because the AB can tear right through that defense.
