angelito, you cant get a 7th level dwelling in every town in the first week, if you start with normal town buildings, you will lack the turns for it.

Then tell me, in which town is it not possible?

If i remember correct, u can build Lev7 dwelling in every kind of town, when lev1 and lev2 dwelling is built at the start of the game.

Example:

One of the hardest town to build lev7 is dungeon.

day 1 = beholders
day 2 = medusas
day 3 = minotaurs
day 4 = scorpicore
day 5 = mage guild lev 1
day 6 = mage guild lev 2
day 7 = dragons

Coz of the mageguild thingy, u wonīt be able to build citadel and castle, but lev7 dwelling is possible..

yes but you also need the resources. I think the hardest would be the Castle, not Dungeon. Simply because you spend 1 of each in gem, merc.,crys.,sulf., and you need 10 to build Portal of Glory. You only start out with 10 of those in the Castle, and once you build the Monastery, you are short 1 of each of those.

try this revolutionary trick then: run with one of your heroes over ressources on the adventure map and they will be added to you! ;-)

Yes but on most maps within the 1st week you only get 1 or 2 of the required, and the rest, if there are any, are guarded.

that's where another great trick comes it: moving your hero over a monster on the map will allow you attack the monster. In case you manage to win the upcoming battle, the monsters disappear and the trick from my previous post can be applied =)

alright here I go again. What if you are not strong enough to beat the creatures? Then you fight them and lose your hero(es). Then what happens. Are you going to spend a lot of money re-recruiting heroes just to beat them?

piles of single ressources ain't guarded

mystical gardens ain't guarded

trading posts ain't guarded

combo's of ressource piles / campfires have weak guards

if you can't get 2 of each ressource week 1, you just have to practice more =)

and btw - on ToH tournament maps, every vet builds castle + level 7 dwelling week 1 (except rampart, tower, dungeon of course - here only level 7 dwelling)

on random maps, 160%, level 7 dwelling and castle week 2 (for every town).

once you are able to do this, we can talk again =)

Ok these and windmills aren't guarded but keep in mind, it's one visit per week, so you can't get them all on week 1

Level 2 creatures mostly some level 3's. If you are someone who buys nothing but creature dwellings this will be fine.

Ok, Week 2 is completely different. But course a lot higher dwellings cost 15,000G and it might be hard when you need to buy every dwelling.

KoM, it's not hard at all.  In the beginning, you grab two extra heros, place all units on your main and run around to kill the early monsters.  Your two scouts can just flag all the mines afterwards and pick up extra resources.  EArly treasure chests should all go to gold.

You would do even better, if you DONīT let your main hero do all the fights alone, but CHAIN your troops between ALL your heroes. You can do MORE fights, free MORE ressources, conquer MORE crypts, medusa stores, dwarven treasuries, and u will get MORE money in LESS time coz of this much fights.
With this MORE money, u can built up your castle EARLIER and buy ALL your troops earlier and fight nagabanks and UTOPIAS earlier....and i think i donīt have to mention the advantages of the reward of utopias, do I???
Did you ever try to fight an utopia week 3?...It works..

I was wondering in my first onlinegames at what time, with what army and with which stats my opponent broke into my area and kicked my a$$ when i hadnīt cleared my aera not even half...

A few years ago, I have done this myself too, for all the levels. I don't remember where I have put my notes, but I think I can recall level 7 ranking.

Morale and luck bonuses were turned off, I played all battles on 10vs10. No spells, no stats included. (0/0/2/3 hero or such)

(win/close win/close lose/lose)

1. Arch Angels   (6/1/0/0)
2. Arch Devils   (5/1/0/1)
3. Titans        (3/1/1/2)
4. Black Dragons (2/2/2/1)
5. Behemoths     (3/1/1/2)
6. Gold Dragon   (2/0/2/3)
7. Chaos Hydra   (1/0/0/6)
8. Ghost Dragon  (0/0/0/7)

The Arch Angels only close victory is against the AB's. All other stacks were destroyed easily. They ruined the AD stack extra fast (hate).

The Arch Devils have killed AB's easier (wait, double attack), but they had problems with the BD's.

Titans lost two the top two, shot down the Behemoths, lost in a close fight vs. the Blackies and won a similar, close fight vs. the Goldies.

The Black Dragons look the most balanced. They lost to the AA's and killed CH and GD - those two play in a different league. All the other fights were close.

Behemoths did great. They almost held the AA's and killed the BD's in an equal fight. But the fact that they were so easily shot down by the Titans did not help them.

The Gold Dragons fought well, but their HP let them down a bit.

The rest two requires no comment. The Ghost Dragon's aging did work, but unlucky for them, vs. the Arch Angels (and the Arch Devils when the fight was almost over).

Some key fights:

Arch Angels vs Behemoths

AA does 77.5 damage each.
AB does 49.5 to 82.5 damage each.

In 1v1, with 2/2/1/1 heroes you were using, the AB's have good chances - you gave them extra damage and ...

The fight starts with AA waiting. AA attacks, remaining 8(!) AB retals. From now on, each turn goes like this: AA hits, AB hits, AB hits, AA hits.

Arch Devils vs Behemoths.

Arch Devils do 44-55 damage each.
Ancient Behemoths do 51-85 damage each.

Three Behemoths were dead before the could do anything. That decided the fight. (AD hits 2x, AB hits, AD hits 2x etc...)

Arch Devils vs Black Dragons

Arch Devils do 34-46 damage each.
Black Dragons do 37-46 damage each.

Arch Devils are faster, but not much, so fight goes like this: AD1x-BD-AD2x-BD-...

Black Dragons HP make them durable enough to survive the first attacks, making it a close fight.

We have to remember different battles will have different results. And you don't even have to change the number of troops to figure that out. It's all based on a total random roll. One battle Ancient Behemoths could hit for 30 dmg all the way through (dmg range is 30-50), and if you restart the battle using same numbers, AB's could hit for 50 each time. It all depends. Doesn't happen as much with AB's or anything else as it does for Titans. Titan's range seems to be the worst.

I really expected the behemoths to win against everyone.however the ghost dragons surprised me,as the chaos hydra,who sgould beat the ghosties.The titans have the normal wins and defeats to their akills.Gold dragon is good as well.Black Dragon as well.Archdevil as well.Archangel-well????thought it was a bit stronger then the Black dragon,but when Ieally do the math it isn't.Behemoths are the coolest thing ever,man I said this a lot of times in this forum,guess I was right.
