I was an atheist once for awhile.  It's one of those phases I went through that didn't last.  If it's really for you, it will last.

I find true atheist statement quite illogical. World couldn't been created by itself.

Athiests belive in something. They belive there is nothing.

I dont belive in god, but i dont belive there is no god either.

If any of you know there is or is no god, and have evidence, please let me know so I can be one who belives in something.

I'm suprised theres no word for me. agnostics? arent they confused in general? I'm not confused. I know what I can and cannot know, and wether or not there is a god is one of those things I cant know right now.

(although the evidence fenix said leads me closer to god than athiesim)

Then you say that there must be a god, so that there's someone who created the world. But who created god? God couldn't create himself, because he wasn't there before he was created. And don't feed me the "god has no beginning and no end" crap, because it can fit to the world just as it fits to god. Your opinions are just as illogical as mine.

Yes in some way. But definition of god is spirit with reason, feelings and will who is almighty.
Beginning and end are two laws of physics. God doesn't comply to these laws, He created them.
If there is no God, there is no beginning and there is no end. Because He created the beginning (Big Bang) and He existed before it.
World and people are complying to these laws. It is hard to imagine something like this, but I don't consider it illogical. Logic lead us to this statement.

I don't see what was his reasoning when he created humanity. Are we god's pets or some sort of experiment? Or maybe he was just bored in that infinite emptiness and wanted something to watch? This would lead to the conclusion that god likes reality shows.

Conclusion: god does not practice what he preaches and may thus be called a hypocrite.

Interesting. I always thought that god created Earth, stars, the sun, water, those cute cuddly animals and humans, not some sort of big explosion.

Unfortunately your statements don't look logical to me at all, so I guess the stuff behind your words isn't logic.

God didn't needed this world, and he doesn't need amusements like we do, because He is enough to Himself.
He created this world because of love. You can breed with your wife, you don't need love for that. But there is something bigger in marriage.

Nice joke. So you're saying that God is a hypocrite if he doesn't comply to gravity, wind blows etc.

Pope signed a document in which stays that Catholic church agrees with Bing Bang theory. Story about the creation of world was poetic. How could you explain quantum physics to a man 3000 years ago?

There are different opinions on this among Christians.  Some believe that God made everything individually in a single day, but I (and it appears that Fenix also) believe that God used the Big Bang to make the universe.  One of the main holes in the Macro-Evolution can be explained if there is a divine hand behind it.

If something doesn't exist, it cannot be loved. Yet you claim that he created the world because of love. I don't believe there is any word for this kind of thing. Freud would be delighted though, that's for sure.

Unless there is no such thing wherever he is. And since god is omnipresent, which means being everywhere... This would be very hard indeed.

Pretty hard, esp. when the one to explain the concept doesn't know what the word means.

So your God could fall down the stairs if the force of friction couldn't support his weight becuse of rain and wet stairs?
Your God needs to eat because he loses energy by complying to laws of physics.
He couldn't even create the world because matter cannot be created out of nowhere.

We don't know why he created the world.  Do you know why the apple falls when you drop it?  Gravity, yes, but do you know how gravity works?  Why does it work?  There is no more reason for that than for creating the world.  But he did, so we must live in it.

Think of God as the painter and the Universe as his painting.  God no more has to comply to the rules of the universe than the painter has to to his painting.

All of these "philosophical evidences" have been refuted long ago. But they are still very popular among ideological liars and indoctrinators, who teach their religions to children.

The same cannot be said about the problem of christian Theodicy, which hasnīt been solved in 2000 years:
An almighty, all-knowing and all-benevolent being does not logically correspond with a world where suffering and injustice exist.

Example: Itīs a fact Auschwitz did happen.
Was god not able to interfere? Then he is not almighty.
Did god not want to prevent it? Then he is not good.
Did god not know about Auschwitz? Then god is not all-knowing.

Now you're implying that to not break the rules, god would have to be human (or just organic, whatever), while that simply isn't the case.

How logical!
And God wouldn't need to be human, any thing behave the same way on wet stairs and any thing consumes energy for actions.

The reason, which has been stated over and over again, is that he gave us free will.  He lets us do what we want, but this makes the true believers all the better.  Without free will, we would just be a bunch of clanking robots saying "God is great.  God is great." over and over again.

Actually, that was him being sarcastic.  That is what your god could do, not our God.

God was able, but if he interfered, he would have took the man his most precious gift: the freedom to do what he desires.
