Well I downloaded GameRanger but I cant install it..
Every time i click connect it shows me "There was no response after contacting the GameRanger server".
i tried for several days but no results.....any suggestion?

Hello, I am having a problem that i have been researching and cannot find any info on, me and my brother have tried ALOT of things to play Heroes3 online, we have used hamachii, gamespy, and gameranger but, everytime I get an unknown error message:
could not save game as "RMT*WOSC.BIN".
then this pops up:
error opening file ./DATA/RMT*WOSC.BIN.

hi,
Me and my friend found out H3 again and wanted to play online, but we tryed trough ip says ip not found then we installed hamachi and if I make server he can see it, but cant join because it says "There was an error trying to connect to this session...." and if he hosts it I dont even see the server...
Any ideas ?

hamachi probs
Me and my friend have a problem when trying to play Heroes 3 online over a hamachi network, when he tries to join my host his Heroes freezes, and the same when I try to join his. We have had third party host to try and we can both join him, and he can join my game and he can also join my friends game. We both have Heroes 3 Complete, hamachi 1.0.1.5 and so on. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Trouble with gamespy
I am trying to play heros3 on gamespy, ive opened all the gamespy ports, my game is version 4.0, but I still get the "There was an error trying to connect to this session...."message. Is it a problem that my External and Internal IP adresses are different and thats what may be causing this?

No, this just means you've got a router. Maybe you try to make an account on GAMERANGER and try to meet people there. Much easier to connect, especially when hiding behind a router.

Me and my two friends, play heroes for many years, and we could say that we are professionals.
Now we decided to play online 3 vs 3, so we can get some decent oponents.
What is the best solution to play online multiplayer game with serious profesional players?

Hello! My friend and I tried to connect but every time we try we have the same problem: one of us creates a room, and starts the game. Then, he can get in the game, and the other (the one who didn't create the room and is not a "leader") can't get into the game and gets the message: can't connect to that session. If the other one creates a room, he can get into the game while the first one is having the same problem the other had before. Does it have something to do with router? We read the first post of this toppic, we unblocked everything we had to unblock on firewall, but we still have the same problem.
Does anyone know hoe to solve that problem? Thanks

Where do you create that room? On what site? Gamespy? Gameranger?

first we created it on gamespy, but now we tried on gameranger and we managed to get in the game, but now we have another problem: the "error sending data" appears every few minutes and we have to restart the game.
