I believe time to be a relative fictional notion conjured up by the human mind to define a process of aging(i.e. slow and gradual breaking down of molecular and cellular bonds), nothing more.

Then obviously you don't know much about Einstein's theory of time and space relativity. Time is real, just as other physical measurements.

I would say that we all already are gods. We have total control of our own will and choices. Being god doesn't mean to be able to, for example destroy the world with only a gesture.

You are gods already, because gods can create their own future, and every human being are able to do that.

Just one little thing: The Christian religion suck, because it lies more than the gossip magazines.

I'm all for free speech and all, but I think this should be modded.

Anyway, I don't believe we are all gods. God tends to be ominpotent in most dictionaries and we a far from that. And what you described does't really fit the definition of a god...

If that post is modded then I should think your post should be modded as well, as an example of christian supremacy = forcing your values on other people.

Do you have total control over your own will, and do you consciously make all the decisions you think you make?  I think not...  No one is free to do what they want, and actually that's a good thing.  A good thing we are 'shackled' by morals and ethics, by cultural bagage, or we would behave like mere beasts.

A lot of human beings do not have the same options, rights, and possibilities as you have.  Parents died of aids, or born with it themselves, decades of famine, no schools, senseless wars, epidemics...  Some people in this world don't have a future, nor can make themselves one.  Some people are born dead.

We are the lucky ones, but are we gods?

I'm not sure how much that is a good thing. It is necessary to some extent, but oppresing essential innate needs and desires innevitably leads to frustration and serious personality disorders. On the other hand, all those things that are not in the human nature in any way, i.e. that are learned, are those that we should thank for being what we are. Culivated beasts, but beasts nonetheless.

Just didn't like the term "shackled", since that would imply that there's some state of restriction, something that prevents you to do something you want. And learning to tame is not something I'm in favor of, but rather learn something new and positive.

Shackled doesn't fit. Everyone knows I am god.
