How to Staying On Topic Without Actually Staying On Topic
This is a perfect way to stay on-topic when you are just dying to fill that thread up with spam. This is going to be a little quiz. See if you can spot which member is the hidden or not so hidden spammer of HC.
1.) Start your post by giving someone a compliment.
Whether or not your post is total spam they won't care because of your wonderfully positive attitude. One compliment can really go a long way.
2.) Complain.
Even though complaints go in the Tavern Feedback/Complaints thread, the rest of the community finds it absolutely necessary to complain everywhere but that thread. It's even more effective if you complain about the mods. Then you will blend in perfectly. If you complain about mods, you can pretty much just post in a random thread with a random complaint about a mod and people will think it natural. You will probably even start long discussions about your random complaint.
3.) Recommend that the thread be moved, cleaned, awarded, or penalized, anything that requires a moderators action.
If you feel the need to do this often ramble on for a few more sentences making it look like some thought and effort was put into your post.
4.) Put horrible grammar and spelling errors in your posts.
People won't completely understand what you are trying to say and assume that you are trying to say something intelligent.
5.) Act cool.
Throw in a few lines making yourself look cool. Trash on other people who are spamming in the thread separating yourself from them. People will just assume that you aren't a spammer because of your "never spammed and never will cause your too cool" attitude.
6.) Make a sexual innuendo.
If you are a girl, most guys won't care what you posted cause they will be too turned on to complain. In fact, this place being male dominated, it would even be somewhat accepted in a semi-serious discussion.

you sure about that mad? because when you are referring to a group (as acu&celf becomes due to the "the") i think it is like "that isnt that group" instead of "that arent that group" because then it would be "that arent those groups".
I think its a toss that mods creates threads like this though. They should rather make threads how the threads can keep stay on topic instead of ways to avoiding it.

Yeah it is true that you refer to groups as "is". (ie. Newcastle is a footbal team)
However, you were pointing out two (multiple/plural) individuals (..celfious or aculias...) plus your sentence followed as (...the first two ...); therefore you should have used the proverb "are" instead of proverb "is"

Sorry rsf the topic was changed.
if some people had a taste of the way my mind works they would think they are in some crazy spiritual dimension. I have lived with that for about 8 years now and I would like to see some of you have a taste for one evening.
Aculias makes sence but his native language syntax is not the same as the English SVO language. Gramaticle connections were made in a different language. Some languages are similar like the germanic family languages which all have things in common. But espanol is not germanic therefore most of you european bilingual people (or american english speakers for that matter) blindly assume that learning English is just as easy for you as it would be with everyone else.
I usualy do imply that I could be wrong also, which is seemingly a mark down for the intellect of non mentioned humans here. SS has no place to question my intelligence, but at the same time his lack of it applies what seems to be enough reason for him to do so.

Well, I'd like to start by thanking Redsox for making such a fine - thought provoking thread. As always Red, your threads make my heart sing with joy.
Secondly, I'd like to also say that I'm a bit upset at the way some of my friends are treated! I think that some people need to stop and consider other people's feelings before they post, and for sure the moderators should be doing something about the direct insults! The moderators never do their job!! Please mods, the CoC is there for a reason, get it together!
Third, I think this thread should be moved to the wastelands, then scoured of all spam - then moved to ToH then back to the library, and finally it should end up here. Thank you!
Fouth, and most impotently - the sky has many colerful uses and if we don't understand why we use it then how can we made this community what evryone can be happy to play???
Fifth, why pollute this thread with nonsense? The topic was clear and yet people feel they have to spam it up and make their mark on it. Well just stop. It's not cool. I am.
And finally, I think I need to wrap this post up as my black lacy bra is starting to become itchy and uncomfortable... maybe I should just take it off...

WOW, Pandora. I was acutally believing that post until I got to the second part and realized what was really going on. Nice post way the by. It was funny. But those sexual innuendos aren't fooling me. This is a serious discussion here... well maybe semi-serious, so I guess it's okay to make those kind of posts in here.
Oh yeah and can't some mod clean up this thread? Those mods never do anything. Man this thread is full of spam. Oh yeah that's right. I'm a mod. Man being a mod is so much cooler than being just a regular member. I mean who else can edit or delete any post they want?
