Hmmm, weird. You were full of sympathy when it came to liberating the Afghanistani from the evil Talibans. Now when it's in your own back yard, you dont have sympathy.

Svarog,

Yes, I was raised as a Mormon("Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints"). If you are asking what I think about the existence of such groups(mormon in specific), I can comfirm their existence.

Seriously though Svarog, I have a lot of information regarding this and I really don't want to bore anyone. I mean who really wants to hear about the Mormons? If you do then I can share quite a bit. But if you're only asking me to confirm their existence then yes, they are real and do exist here within the united states of america. They have existed here since prior to the american civil war(about 1840-50's). Although they claim to have originated from one the twelve tribes of Israel.

Geez.. that "D&D is bad" thing is the biggest nonsence I've ever seen! If a person cannot understand what is the real world, and what is the game, it's only his problem. Blaming a simple roleplay game is so.. childish. It seems like we're back at the middle ages, burning witches and stuff..The gay thing was really disguisting, the imps are just ridicilous..

Well he also hates rock music and abortion, and (this is the killer) claims that Islam was founded by the catholic church and worships a demon! That bit's interesting as he claims it was founded by Catholics prior to Mohammed, which begs the question as to why they would fund the Muslims to fight their own faith as opposed to just funding their own forces...

Oh and did I mention that according to him the Jesuits organised the Holocaust and are planning the same in America?

mabey he thinks the pope is trying to have him assasinated.

The main problem I have with all the tracts (little pamphlets) is how everyone in them act like they never heard the story before, and they are like, so beliveing of it too. Some girls college course taught her about dinosoars, but suddenly she exclaims "They lied to me" because this guy is saying the earth is 6000 years old, and the evolution theory is false.. Giving no evidence yet she is positive the college proffesors "lied".

Also, the homosexual preacher who turned his life around of "messing up all the children" because this guy told him about gamora and sodemy (the cities, i cant think of the proper names).. Yea', like the preacher hadnt heard that before.. People are to stupid to belive something thats against what they already think.

Its like that in most of the tracts, mere words transforming people.

I wouldn't mind laughing at one that puts imps over college professers.

The Truth Behind Ozzy Ozbourne

http://www.veinotte.com/ozzy/bio2.htm
(small excerpt)
Although Sabbath has long been plagued by cries of 'Devil Worshipers' and 'Satanists', the devil had nothing to do with the choice of the name, regardless of how dark and satanic the name sounded. This point is strengthened by the following incident: As the band began to make news a group of satanists asked them to play at their "Night of Satan" at Stonehenge. They flatly refused, for which they were later informed by the head witch, Alec Sanders, that the group had placed a hex on the band members. Ozzy apparently asked his father to make them up some aluminum crosses, and they wore them 24 hours a day for protection, seeming to take the threat seriously.
(small excerpt)

I'm not a fan of Ozzy Ozbourne or his music at all but the moment I see or hear some christian fanatic screaming that I'm a devil-worshipper because I play D&D is the moment I become Ozzy's biggest fan. I will go out of my way to purchase their most wicked album simply to make a point. I am more opposed to religious extremism than I am opposed to some nutty media-driven expose'.

Oh and Aquaman333, on an earlier point you raised, of course he has the right to freedom of speach, everyone has the right. To quote another cartoonist, It's not against the law to be stupid, not even god's law apparently

Anyway I'm off to try a limited wish spell in RL, my friendly Imp taught it me

i hope Jesus is real. It would be very mean of people to start a lie which would forever be instilled into new people.

The book of life, and sea of fire, are extremely frightening things, and to make it up is just sad. I would rather a more lenient thing be made up.. Something that says do good to others, be mindful of greed, and try to live as our brother Jesus did.

Indeed.  Keep in mind, would a make believe story survive 2000 years?  Would Jesus' apostles die for preaching something they knew was false?  They were there through it all, and if anyone would know it would be them.  Don't bother saying the Bible is false either, plenty of archaelogical evidence has shown it's real.

I'd rather NOT turn this into an athiest vs religious debate thank you, but rather a point on this guys work and christian extremism in general. Kindly keep that kind of comment away from here as it invites the topic to wander.

Ummm, no I specifically pointed to underlying ways in that cartoon that he does not conform to the norm. Also I pointed out that the man's ideas consist of more than merely 1 cartoon, so whatever the point on the Homosexuality cartoon being normal belief or otherwise, the whole of the guys work are not. I also believe that Aquaman333 adressed your post also.

Hence Extremism...
