I would rather see the thread topic redone, vs seeing this topic being redone for the 100th time. But thats me..

Favorite movies are.. Matrix, fear and loathing in las vegas, detroit rock city, the doors, formula 51, steal this movie, star wars 2, (matrix 3) and some others almost made my list.

Second in hand is LOTR, Troy, and some others im not taking time to think of lol.

Well well, what do you know.
viking was right. there really isn't a thread about movies. I remember very accuretly posting about it somewhere (probably yours shirastro) but it must have been lost in the armageddon.

OK, I like european independent movies the most.
among my all time favourites are: La vita e bala, Queen Margaut, LOTR (dont we all), Matrix, Vanilla Sky, American Beauty, Kissed and many others.
There, you got it (finally) .

do you actually go to movie theaters to watch movies? or do you rent dvd's? i went to theaters less than 15 times since i was born. most the time i download them. its probably wrong but i really cannot afford to pay to see movies.  also, when watching movies in english, i would prefer subtitles, but in theaters they don't usually have that option.

by the way, i forgot to mention these two films that i enjoyed very much, the Shawshank Redemption, Unforgiven.

Consis: Samurai Jack???? A movie? Are you talking about the way-cool cartoon Samurai Jack?? WOW!

Anyway, here's a list, even if I don't know if anyone's already mentioned them:

Merlin (the best movie of them all. You know you love it.)
Trainspotting
Le pacte des loups (I don't know the english title, if there is any. And I don't see it without swedish subs, my french is waaaayyy to rusty for that )
Plan 9 From Outer Space
Terminator 1&2
Batman to Batman Forever
Finding Nemo
Treasure Planet (is that the english name?)
Star Wars (all of them, even if episode I wasn't that good. MAY 2005, WHEN WILL YOU COME???)
X-Men 1&2
The adventures of Baron Munchausen
Monty Pythons movies
Ed Wood
Sleepy Hollow
And so on and so forth...

Movies I don't like are:
Lord of the Rings: All of them
They are not that bad, but not as good as everyone says. I have the first film, but I think I will sell it or give it away. LotR shall not drag my movie-collection down!
