My 1st thing I notice about map is it has way to many AI's

After day 4 transfers started to slow down noticably. After week 2 they will be unbearable.

There has only ever been 1 map " Imperial Prison" that I have seen with AI that didnt slow the transfers.  And that was only 1 AI and the AI didnt own a town or anything etc.

2nd, the starting terrain is ALL snow. Main army moves freely with snow shoes but any and all scouts bearly move.  And since there are some really tuff fights just to leave town, it is easy to lose a starting hero, which means impossible to chain the hero back to town.  Since the scouts can bearly move.

Anyways, these are just my first impressions of map.  I got WOW editor now yet it still wont let me view the map in editor it says something about fatal exception error.  

I will try to get someone to play it with me past week 1.

Notice

for those who had the beta version i sent it week ago:

the map has gone through many changes, adjustments , especially movement modifiers,winter lodge (np with scouts)close to main town, extra gold mines, tuned some creatures, l2 joiners day 1, etc.
Winter area is 5% part of the map, and, eliminating all the penalties,its part of map design only.
So i recommend you to download THIS version whos link is on the opening post.

as i said i chamged it since last version
2nd, i started with valky and tenakha, we are week 3 and all running smoothly, no longer than 20 sec transfer. so maybe it was a local problem . Those AI , 2 of them are fake (only one group for each color, guarding) 2 are active but their area is restricted so they dont make lot of moves. besides , the AI activity will be eliminated week 4 in the end.
You need to update the wow editor as specified on the Equi site in order to open the map.


So, download the map and notice the changes, if something NEW, unadequate occurs , im here to serve

Sounds good teacher... but maybe I am missing something... how does +2 movement on Snow solve the scout movement issue?  When ya lose 10 steps per turn, gaining + 2 on 1 turn doesnt help much, unless I am missing something.  Which is possible

I had higher expectations from you, like right clicking on the winter lodge and reading the info

I do right click, but I thought it gave only the +2 movement.  Never new that it eliminated the snow penalty for an entire week. That is cool.  I will need to read it more carefully. Thanks for the insite.

Giant Maze out now !

The updated map v1.1  is now posted on TOH maps page.
The archive contains 2 variants, with and without active AI, along with the helpfile . The v1.1 changes are mentioned there.
The wow version of map will be released in 1 week, but, meanwhile, you know what you have to do. Download and try it!
