ISP connection doesnt exist! ERROR
(HOMM3)
OK I am using a router and my IP starts with 192. this does not allow me to connect to my friends computer. I cant host, and I cant connect when he is hosting.
my real IP starts with 69.xxx.xxx.
Is there a way I can tell my computer that 69.xxx.xxx is the IP address when I am using the router. direct connecting to modem is not a option since there are 2 other computers in the house using the internet all most all of the time.

the number heroes tells you you are using doesnt matter, if you know your true ip it will work.
but you need to open a port (i cant remember which one though) its somewhere in the forums (from last year)
if you find that port you will be back in action
or you could just open all ports and run your router like a hub 
192.0.0.1 (should be your router page)

you would need to go into your router settings (type 192.0.0.1 //or// 198.0.0.1 i dont remember the number but it should be one of those) in your web browser, your router set up screen should pop up, and in there somewhere (depending on the router) there will be a option to open ports.
its very hard for me or anyone to tell you exactyly without actually seeing the list, but it should be under port forwarding or something.
then i dont know if you can openm all ports, my iold router limited me to like 10 ports or something at a time.
search google for heroes3 ports and you should get a answer eventually.. i know its in the forums here, but i dont know where.
