No, they wonīt, if they are Slowed!
The Damage is 30-40 and you are able to attack every 2 turns, you will have a chance of winning. So itīs possible, but doesnīt happen every time. I tested this myself, and I won the battle. (I might have been lucky though)

First of all, u are NOT able to hit them every second round, coz when the ABīs are placed in the middle of the battlefield, and the devil will fly away then, the ABīs will follow and if u will wait with devil then, they will move again.
With expert slow, u reduce their speed to 5. So when they are placed in the middle of the battlefield, they could reach a radius of TEN hexes if the devil would wait and if there werenīt any obstacles on the field, there will be NO hex for the devil which would be save..
Remember...devil has speed of 11.....if he stands besides the AB and has to fly away, the AB makes 5 hex + 5 hex on devils wait and has 1 hex bonus coz the devil flew "over" the behemot...so he will reach him..
And even if u would be able to hit them every second turn, u will kill them hardly.
80 times 35 damage makes 2800 damage....200 left for the Ancient Behemot.
Behemot will make 70 damage (40 damage as middle, a/d difference coz of 80% reduction will be 15, 15*5% = 75%, 75% of 40 = 30, 40 + 30 = 70) per round, so devil will be dead after third hit...latest.
Devil needs 6 hits to kill AB. 6 * 35 = 210
So iīm still pretty sure u wont kill them with slow only...

As you said in the other thread ... the Arch teleports ... so that isn't technically speed ... but i played with a black dragon once upon a time and it seemed to reach the other side of the screen ... and i don't like or play with phoenixes ... and they usually don't move before i kill them ...

Actually, the top speed award (not counting AB creatures) goes to Archangels with 19.

Archangels have the speed of 18, Arch Devilsīspeed is 17. Azure dragonsī speed is 19. Just checked them.

-_-; lol man it's a matter of quantity vs quality. skells might be weak in small numbers, but do you have any idea how many you can gather in a few short months? They will swarm any army and then eat them alive.

Even on 1vs1 they are only doomed when pitted against centauri, pikemen and master gremlins. Otherwise they are decent.

i got a Q if an efreety or efreety sultan has been hit, and he's fire shield stroke back and killed the attacker, what will the efreety/sultan do, you have to be an expirienced gamer for this , to really know it and not just guess.

Have you tried it? I have, and I succeeded, really! And If I remember correctly, my Devil did more than 35 damage per turn. 36-39 or so, but thatīs just lucky. (37,5 * 80 = 3000.) And got extra attacks too. ABs got only 2, both in the end, when they were weak already.
The battlefield is 15 hexes long. If the Devil attacks the ABs IN THE MIDDLE or so and teleports away, it reaches the other side. And if the ABs follow, the wonīt get to him! On the next turn the Devils would fly away again, out of the ABs reach. I battled like this once, and as I said, I won.

5 A) he could use slow on the behemoths and the use w8 on the devils(so he gets 2 turns in a row) and then do a hit`n run style...

You can win on Cursed ground, as well as usually, because you can still use lvl 1 spells, INCLUDING SLOW.
