Okay, thanks to Guitarguy, I recently got back into playing Diablo 2 and I am really enjoying it again.
A while back, maybe a few months ago, me and Guitarguy started with 2 new characters that we would both work on together, but then I eventually became bored again and then stopped playing. The other day I got back into it, and I am trying to reach the level that he is currently at right now since he solo'ed a lot. He is level 65, and I have got up to level 59 right now, so I am nearly there 
Today I have been doing a lot of Cow Runs in order to get my level to be the same as his, or nearly equal with, and with 2 of about 30 or 40 games that I played today, I picked up two of the Cow King Set Items. I picked up the Helmet and the Boots, but I am yet to find the Armour, and I desperately need it so I can complete the set and have some good items on.
I currently have a good armour on, but with the bonuses that the Cow King set items give, it just utterly beats them, so I am going to have to switch the armour I have on now, with the armour that I may get soon (hopefully).
When I started again, I didn't really know what to be, so I just chose (yet again) a Tesladin (Holy Shock + Zeal), Paladin. This is the build that I am the most familiar with and the build that works best for me, and I know how to use it well. I could have made stronger Builds like a Hammerdin or a Smiter, but I don't know how to do them quite well, and I would probably ruin up the character.
I have some alright items on at the moment, but I think it is time for a change, to get even better items. If there was no Ladder Reset, then I would probably transfer the items from my other characters onto this new one, since I have some pretty good items on my other characters, for example:
Annihilus Small Charm (Unique Charm)
Gheeds Fortune Grand Charm (Unique Charm)
Fort or Fortitude for the full name (Runeword)
Botd or Breathe of the Dying Sword (Runeword)
Carrion Wind Ring (Unique Ring)
Dwarf Star Ring (Unique Ring)
And some other good items as well, including a Crafted Amulet, War Trav Boots, Dracul's Grasp Gloves, and a good helmet.
I would like to know if anyone has the Cow King Hide (The Armour) and if they would like to perhaps trade it or even give it to me for free, since I desperately need it. If anyone is generous to do so I would be very grateful.

I was trying my first Assasin the other day, had her equiped with full Sigon Set and got to about lvl 24 both times and got killed by lag both times. With HC characters!!!

Sorry for the double post, but I recently, well just now, got a 515 defense armour, and I want to make a fort out of it. I have all the runes except a Lo rune.
If anyone out there is really nice and would like to give me it (for free, like that would happen  ) then it would be very very appriciated.

I just started playing this game.
I got a level 51 sorc. And I'm going full lightning with maybe 20 fire mast 20 hydra, Depending on how well I can kill snow in hell mode. I may end up just going pure lightning if I really need the damage. I've been one-shotting just about every dude in Act 2 NM so far.

I played this for a fair while probably a year ago, got a level 36 amazon and finished the game on normal, then gave up. Might get back into it some day, surprisingly fun for the amount of repetitive clicking you do.

Not wanting to be annoying, but can't this tread be renamed? There are other games that use D2 as its initials (like Disciples 2).

Sorceress Builds
How does anyone justify maxing out 1 Skill Tree for the sorc?!
I just had my first taste of Hell level and it's freaking insane how many of the guys have immunity to at least 1 element not to mention the guys who seem to have 2 immunities.
I mean if you Max out Blizzard and Syerngies that's 81-100 Skill Points right there (20 Cold Bolt, 20 Ice Blast, 20 Glacial Spike, and 20 Blizzard, not to mention Cold Mastery 1-20 ). Considering that you only have a max of 110 SP ounce your lvl 99 ( 98 from lvls, and 4 from quests from each difficulty lvl). What would really save you in Hell with only 10 skill points to assign if you get a Cold Immune guy? Anything you try would be really really weak.
The next build I try will be a combination Fire (chant) and Cold (Orb) Sorc, 20 Warmth, 20 Enchant, 20 Cold Bolt, 20 Frozen orb (+4 for orb Prereq). This still leaves me with 26 points for the Masteries, Tele, and Armor. Good Build???

Note: All of the following items/stories are legit, as I prefer to play as untweaked as possible. None of these treasures were gained through trade or otherwise unethical means. And finally, all were found by my current Bowazon; I prefer not to bolster these screenshots with items from my previous characters.
Nice. Io is supposedly one of the better runes you can get from Nightmare Countess. I no longer own the Io, though. 
This was a really pleasant surprise. Having found nothing special in NM Lower Kurast, I decided to head northeast and try my luck there. I forget whether it was in the Bazaar or in Upper Kurast, but I found that Lem under a log there. That left me very inspired.
Hell Countess finally decided to drop something worthwhile. Need I say more?
I already possessed the IK gauntlets and belt. When I found the Tower in the NM Black Marsh this morning, I just happened to stray south of the Tower entrance for no apparent reason and bumped into a bunch of Skeletons. Their leader dropped the IK helm. I'm liking this.
The unique monster boss north of Shenk and the waypoint dropped this in NM. It's a really good feeling to possess such a prized item. I wonder what offers I'll get?

If u try cold\fire it'll be still hard. I preffer Cold\Lightning. Frozen orb + stright lightning thing, masteries, teleport and static thing should do nicely. If a boss trouble's u it's just teleport and static field and then finish him with cold\lightning. I focus first on mana, then on vitality and strength. U don't need godly amounts of mana, just some mana leech\regeneration items. U'll need some strength in order to wear good items, so don't ignore it. But I usually get crazy amounts of vitality by the end. If u'r pissed by immunities the easiest way is to team up with a paladin on bnet 
At the moment I just began to play again with asassin. I use tiger strike + cobra strike + dragon claws blah-blah-blah and so. Seems I'm addicted to Burst of Speed And I've been lucky and found a grand charm + 53% increased attack speed  I didn't believe it when I found it

D2. Eons ago I played this game. Mostly off-line but had some luck online too, and nah I deleted D2 and left it behind, too time consuming 
Sorceress, Druid and Barbarian were my favs.

Sorcress built is best for cold frozen orb+ it's bonuses and light charged bolt and it's bonuses.
But u can't go for fire + cold cause of the delay between the skills since hydra and frozen orb both have kinda high delay.
And u should just add 1 skill point in the warmth skill and get as many + to all skills items as possibly can.
Use the act 2 mercanry with the defesnive aura for the rest of the game(it must be the normal diffculty one) and make for him the insight runeword.
Which is very easy ral+tir+tal+sol but note that it works only on battle.net.
I saw a guy finish the hell diffculty infront of me with that tech.And for immune to light + cold ppl,let ur mercenary handle them.
And u should always always have this at ur hand
Edit:Also I think it's great to get for ur mercenary that Shaftstop unique mesh armor cause of the dmg reduction and that helmet that reduces the dmg too but I can't remember it's name.
And some people go for the +1 to fire skills gloves and fire + light tech but personally I prefer cold ^_^
Also the runeword Rhyme for shields (Shael+eth) is great for early game and a lil later on u should get the exceptional unique shield Lidless Wall and for the helmet u should get the Harlequin Crest
shako,this is the best helmet for sorcress,and u can also use the delirium runeword
Also the ormus robes with +3 to charged bolt is intresting but I prefer that armor that adds 1 to all skills upgraded to become elite unique instead of exceptional unique (the spirit shroud)
