What we want to learn?

guys, let discuss what are the best 8 secondary skills for a magical hero or a knight hero? Which skills are the most practicably?
And can you tell me you like the magical hero better or the knight?

I like Might heroes - I prefer good states for my creatures in attack and defense
My absolute love-skill is armorer^^ I like def
Offense is imo very handy - more power!
Leadership (if u dont play necro) cuz m,orale can give you additional attacks
Archery, to improve you ranged force (extremely good for tower^^)
Wisdom, you wanna learn those spells, dont you?^^
Logistics, the movement is very usefull!
Well, Diplomacy owns it, so feel free to put it in instead of e.g. leadership(as nec) ar maybe archery, if u dont consider is needed

Wisdom is a must
Logistics is the same(i prefer log-specialty hero)
at least 2 of these 3: air,water, earth magic
offense and/or defence(preferable)
leadership
learning is usefull if taken early. after lvl 10 it's not usefull but in wog it is nomather when it is taken
luck and sorcery are very good in WoG so i add them here

diplomacy really rocks but i find it unfair so i don't pick it often.

for islands navigations is a must
for undead hero necromancy is a must
i used to like archery but only tower can really benefit from it and the bonus vanishes if the enemy unit comes closer to your shooters

um, I must have missed sth, what does luck do in WoG additional? sorcery is cool in WoG, right

I'd like to command a magical hero.
the skill normally I hope I should learn are
Wisdom, a wizard unable to learn high level spell is sarcastically
Intellegence, get enough mana
Air magic,
Earth magic
Sorcery, get more powerful magical attack
Logistics, you should run fast whatever you are going to attack or you are running away when you under attack
Offence(option), I still have to command my legion to attack any enemy since my weapon can not touch anybody.
Armourer(option), nobody will mind better equipments
Artillery(option), add some physical attack chance and impact
Fire magic(option)
Water magic(option)

basic/advanced/expert: adds 10%/20%/30% chance that 1/2/3 stacks will receive +2 att and +2 def plus teh luck bonus. and sorcery II adds +10%/20%/30% to the damage instead of +5%/10%/15%. but this is in the new version 3.58

ADDED: i totally forgot pathfinding! it is very powerfull yet underestimated skill. in some maps(like "a walk in the swamps") it is vital to have it. and in wog(i should stop talking about this sometimes) it is VERY VERY powerfull

you usually you start with your own opinions when you start a thread asking the opinion of others

welcome to the forums

nice thread, i usually go for the magical type, because even though its not as good as might i use it a lot more. i mainly choose leadership and wisdom and all that.

I usually try to go for a magic hero with high defence. But it kind of depends on town. Very hard to pick skills since everything always depends on something. Well anyway, I usually pick (if possible):

1.Wisdom, high level spells are extremely important for me, and even the 3rd level earthquake, quicksand and forcefield are pretty handy sometimes.

2.logistics, Annoying to kill a scout with few dragonflies or efreet with a slow hero. And of course always useful.

3. Earth magic, great spells. Town portal. High mana and spell power combined with summoning spells have saved me a few times. Well there are other elemental spells also but for some reason I usually summon Earth Elementals.

4. Fire magic/Water magic. Usually water, but this depends on the town I'm playing. Still learning the proper use of Berserk and Sacrifice but they seem very good. And Armageddon. Water has important beneficial spells. Mass Cure and Mass Bless. Mass Dispel also quite nice against Tower's land mines. I always remember the first time I cast Mass Dispel during a siege against Tower

5. Air magic, great spells both in adveture map and in combat.

6. Resistance, it doesn't work all the time but when it does it can easily win you a battle. And I hate to get those resistance artifacts without the skill. Even if they are of some use even then.

7.Leadership /Necromancy. High morale is so much nicer than low. If necro then necromancy. Though I don't usually play Necropolis.

8.Armorer, I try to minimize losses.

And in addition to these I go for Diplomacy if offered.

8 secondary skill

I am still a neebi and Need to learn much .
until last was concetrating on magical skill Earth ,air,fire and water logistic and pathfinding   ofense and diplomacy .
if i Play Dungeon Rampart  or Inferno i like to have one hero with advenced Earth , Expert Fire ,Expert sorcery advenced Wisdom   and other no matter just no tactic or balistic  but he need 2 spell armagadeon and Tp .

now learn a little . a might hero with armorer ,archery logistic ,water ,wisdom ,tactic ,balistic  .one expection  for inferno town archery is useles GOG are the worst archer in the game and Magog even more  .
Prayer is a good spell for expert water it's almost like casting shield ,bloodlust  and haste in one spell .clone at expert level is amazing AI always atack clone .
I am still learning but is rare they i can chosse the secondary skill I want  .
i played tower in "gladios titan"  and was lucky to find a close hut with archery as secondary skill and later in the game another hut with earth magic i began with nela as first hero and one of the best was a hero i hired when capture a castle and she just defend the castle many time and got lot of xp point .

i like learning. and i like it even more in wog where it gives you chance for +1 primary skill when leveling and +100/200/300 exp daily

wisdom - for magic obviously
4 magics - better spells = better advantages
Necomancy/Leadership - more skels/turns
Pathfinding/Logistics/Navigation - depending on map
Diplomacy - (great with leadership)

all four magic schools and no "might" skill? strange choice imo but it's your so i won't question it.
but i would leave fire magic for tactics/armorer/offense

You seem to be forgetting about resistance. IN the main fight that - with some arties possibly - can be very powerful.

Learning is useless, you sacrifice more XP to get this skill than what you will gain from it.
