Queen Trivia Challenge
I have challenged Viking to a game of Queen Trivia, so the other members might as well take a look if they're interested, AND maybe learn something about the awesome band known as Queen
Rules:
Each player asks three questions alternately. If after a total of six asked questions the score is a draw, sudden death rules apply.
One scores for answering the question.
Questions must be directly related to Queen.
If you don't know the answer, don't bother looking it up. You have to know it.
Only the two contestants are allowed to post in this thread unless one of them wins. Moderators are asked to delete any offtopic or spoiler posts.
Please don't help either contestant through IMs
I shall start our little match with an easy question:
Which of the band members is a vegetarian?

It's either David Bowie or Montserrat Caballe, but Barcelona was a tad later than Hot Space, so I say it was David Bowie.

Bzzt. The movie was Metropolis from 1927 (well, it was the twenties, I might screw up the exact year). A remake was being made in the eighties, on which occasion Freddie recorded "Love Kills"

My question is...
Doing All Right, the second song on Queen's debut album was co-written by Brian May and the leader singer of Smile, a band Brian May and Roger Taylor were part of. What is the name of Smile's lead singer?

Sorry to disappoint you, but six questions have been asked and the score is 1-0, which means the match is over and I remain HC's Champion Queen Fanatic
Still, you were the hardest to beat so far and I thank you very much for a great game

I didnt see that you said 6.
Had nice time playing this game.
I dont know as much about queen as you do because i listen to many other bands of that age so i know enough from each.
PS. I agree with Woock. This thread should be for somebody to learn about one of the greatest bands ever
