Halo is ok, but it is no where near GTA, and that is for sure. I have finished Halo, and i have had a good look into Halo 2 and it does look special, but nothing compared to what GTA: SA is promising 
No GTA SA has not been officially announced by R* to come out on xbox, its just assumed, as they have a contract and stuff. I believe that it will come out, but not for ages, maybe a year or more.

well i think that halo is a better game than any but thats just my opinion.i have beaten gta fully, and it is a great game to release anger, but halos multiplayer is just the god of all games.

i was just wondering: boot how many times did you vote nintendo on your OWN poll? its kinda :/ because it destroys the whole purpose of the poll...
and xbox is the best.

anyone else noticed that you have become more paranoid about whether or not a new member is boot?
but it does seem suspicious: two new people posting right after each other voting for nintendo which boot got all his clones to vote for

Let's see here...
Mvassilev's Choice:
Playsation 2: Largest game library (even bigger if you count PS1), Final Fantasies, Kingdom Hearts, Tekken, Soul series (Soul Blade, Soul Calibur II/III). Has free online (except for Final Fantasy XI) and best controller.
Others:
Xbox (2nd): Best graphics, second largest game library, Halo (2), a lot of enhanced/ported PS2 games, KOTOR (II), Crimson Skies. Expensive online, controller similar to PS2 but too big, controller S okay.
Dreamcast (3rd): Few games with on-line, a lot of enhanced/ported PS1 games, Soul Calibur, VMU. Horrible controller. Worst graphics.
Gamecube (last): Mario, Zelda, Metroid, none of which are spectacular. No online, below average controller.
So
Graphics: Xbox>PS2>Gamecube>Dreamcast.
Controller: PS2>Xbox>Gamecube>Dreamcast.
Game library: PS2>Xbox>Dreamcast>Gamecube.
Online: PS2>Xbox>Dreamcast>Gamecube.

children...
some day you will realize the best system is in fact the almighty PC ...more versatile than any console, even if not as cheap, able to play all games regardless of the system they were originally meant for and last but not least... upgradable
on that note... i have played on gameboy, gamegear, mega drive, genesis, snes, ps, saturn, n64, ps2, gamecube and xbox... my current pc can rival ps3 and the new xbox
EDIT: my choice: pc, or playstation series, for Soul Edge and its sequels alone
