heroes complete and XP pro
I can't seem to get heroes complete installed on my computer. It seems to get stuck at 5% into the install. It is some .exe file that it gets stuck on and the cd just keeps spinning for about 30 seconds then i finally get a error message and it stops the install. Two of my friends have the same exact problem. Please give me any info on this problem.

Well... I know a bunch of guys that don't have this problem... I guess it's general crapness, as the guys from Great Britain puts it.

Do your friends use the same CD as you? If yes, then most likely your CD is scratched and data can't be read from it.

First, clean the CD. Then copy all the files to a temp folder. (If you can't, then Vasiliy was right.) Try to install from the temp folder. ( _setup\Setup.exe ) Leave the CD in the drive in case Setup checks for it.

i got it
It turned out to be one little scratch on the disc. I took it to a used game store and they resurfaced it for me. Works like new now. Thanx for the replys to my dumbness.
