Ok, joke aside, I believe that it still not clear enough: Elodin can post whatever he wants. If it doesn't derail the subject and/or break the CoC, then it stays. If some members can't stand it, I suggest not reading his posts.
Also, you could technically try to convince Val to come back and create an "ignore list" function for users that would hide the posts of members you can't stand - I think it would be a nice function, even though I wouldn't add anyone to it atm since nobody really annoys me here

This is possible to implement. There is an ignore list on the other forum I've joined, and lemme tell ya somethin' - we need it.
Should be pretty easy to implement, though. You have my support.

Some users still have to learn that people who have a different opinion than religious fanatics are not just simple "atheists".
I think many of those "non fanatics" are quite offended to be called "those atheists" all the time. And offending by purpose is against the CoC...just as a reminder...

Associating negativity with any religion is against the COC. Calling someone a religious fanatic is against the COC. Some moderators need to read the COC.

We already know that mods tend to cherry pick the CoC so I wouldn't put to much emphasis on it. I wish Val would resign so we could democratically start making some much needed changes to this forum. Both when it comes to rules and technology.

I see a lot of spam and not much feedback. I dislike having to do mass post deletions because it permanently screws up the page indexing here, but I'll do it if this continues. And I'll start handing out some silences if it continues to continue.

You don't need Val for that. Since it'd be a function independent of every other user it doesn't need to be implemented server side, so you might as well make it yourself.

But also religious people are offended to be called "fanatics" because they are not atheists. Not the case here, just saying.

It's ironic Angelito tells Elodin calling people atheists is against the CoC and in the same time calls him a fanatic. But I guess it's not on purpose and Angelito just can't see it? Nor do I imagine he'd ever edit it, or apologize to Elodin, despite bringing up the subject himself.
Obviously many of us have an unfortunate writing style, but as a mod, shouldn't you contact the person over HCM if he's overstepping the line and not randomly write it in some thread? That's if you really care about him improving...

Come on...it is getting pretty low now, isn't it?
You never heard about "fanatic fans" in football stadiums? If so, what does that mean? They are bad? No...the SUPPORT their team, NO MATTER WHAT.
Same way it is with a religious fanatic...he supports his believe, no matter what. If this is good or bad, isn't the question here. This was never to be discussed with that statement.
So I still stick to my statement:
Calling everyone who is NOT pro-bible an atheist could be seen as an insult. I think buddhist don't like that kind of name calling either...
