I think I would keel over and die of shock if someone for once could just post feedback here for once without it turning into a steaming pile of off-topic feces. The thread in question has been closed temporarily until I can chew my way through this enormous piece of verbal gristle.

I put forward the motion that and posts that contain a personal attack or attempts to cause a debate about a subject with a thread in the Feedback thread be removed after one warning. I'm sort of sick of the whole bashing and off topic chatter that goes on in this thing.

If it means anything, I wouldn't mind if the mods got a little more gestapo either. There's a few people that don't seem to be able to overcome getting all worked up and a higher voltage on the cattle stick might help keep them in file.

I have mentioned about off-topic posts in the feedback thread often enough that you should know better. And "torching" people anywhere is not allowed. Off-topic discussions and needless fight-picking is getting out of hand in the feedback thread. There doesn't need to be three pages of off-topic argument, finger pointing and name calling every time someone posts a complaint or asks a question here. If this behavior doesn't start to change, I will begin issuing warnings and temporary silences until OSM posters get the point.
