Why don't you guys have a debate about it or something?
The feedback thread really is supposed to be a tool to help moderators address members issues as they arise, so that they can better serve the community.
I'm not certain that a discussion on whether or not Bigmac's are giggle worthy will really help Angelito in any way that matters.
But for the record, BigMacs are high-larious!
Really though, this just keeps degrading farther and farther.
To sum up:
PhoenixReborn asked for a response from the moderators, he received one from both.
Insults aren't allowed - but not every perceived insult will get an automatic penalty.
Corribus doesn't care about any of this - so 'nuff said about his involvement.

Okay, I'll do it.
I'm advising you to stop looking for trouble where there's none, and choosing to argue with people who've no desire to engage you further.
The BigMac thing was a joke for crying out loud, I refuse to write a disclaimer after everything I say so that you won't try to find a way to make an arguement of it.
As for Corribus, I was referring to his post in tribunal - not attempting to speak for him.
Honestly, there's no reason for this...

Don't you guys never get tired of constantly walking into circles? Even PonyReborn and C haven't posted about this issue anymore!
This is more like a JJ vs Gootch mud wrestle match about who understands the whole point the best, with Pan as some random side-line judge, desperately trying (but failing) to give this whole matter a rest. Jeez guys, give it a rest, it's not your problem.
Why should you care anyway?

But if you don't care, then why do you continue to rant on and explain your actions? If someone doesn't understand your point by now, then he's either dumb or a dreamer (rather the latter).
I mean, there's nothing wrong in explaining your point and so, but you don't have to do every single time when someone posts on the matter.
I don't not criticize the fact you mingled yourself in the discussion. I criticize the fact that you (as well as others, whom I adress with this post as well!) keep continuing with no end. I know that "let it rest" is a really weak arguement, but there's a limit to what there is to say.
For me, there's nothing to say on this matter anymore. I'll retreat to the Tavern (or the VW) for now and hope that this SILLY (!!!) arguement dies swiftly.
Also, I haven't expressed by opinion on the matter yet, but know that I completely support and agree with Gootch's actions

I have made a post about it in mod mode. Things are getting out of hand in a couple of threads. I will say it again...
People cease insulting each other (even veiled insults) and stick to the subjects at hand. This is an official warning. Lively debate and interesting conversation is welcome, but INSULTS are not.

Even though you may be personal "involved" in this case, we won't wait until we have your acceptance in our judgement.
We saw something was wrong, we discussed and came to a solution. We reacted in a way we think it was the right way this time.
We will act different in case of repetition, you can be sure about that.

I feel like I'm watching a Conan O' Brian skit where all the Beatles start threatening to sue each other.
Instead of, "I'll sue you!" we get a heaping dose of, "This offends me! If you don't cater to my needs right now I'm grabbing my toys and finding another sandbox!"

I'd much rather have a dozen Elodins on this board than the few prancing nancies who feel justified escalating a dialogue and then claiming great offense to views contrary to their own. So what if he's being indelicate? When you're set upon by a mob, fight or flight kicks in. He decided to start swinging. Good on him for standing up to hypersensitive guardians of egalitarianism.
Is there any significant difference between, "People like you" and, "People like you" when those blanket statements do an excellent job of avoiding mentioning hitler/nazis/the holocaust/<insert disaffected minority>? I'd say there isn't.
Please stop with the grandstanding JJ. It's people like you that make mods say things like, "Why do I effin' bother," or, "Val, I need to take a break," or, "You think you can do a better job? Then put in your app. I will gladly trade places with you right now," or the far more succinct, "**** this ****."

As much as I appreciate being taken out of that JJ, unfortunately I am in it. The original stance on this was mine, and Angelito and Shadowcaster stood in support. For me Moderation has a couple of stages. Warning - Which I did, I issued a warning. Then the next step is a penalty (should it happen again). After a penalty is issued, then it is a silence and penalty, which is as far as a Moderator can and should take it (but the silence period can be longer of course).
I am sorry you feel this way about it JJ, and you will be missed. This was my decision for the most part, and the other Mods just supported me. If you want to be upset at anybody, it should be me. Not all Moderators, Val, or HC itself.

I think it's kinda natural for Gootch to call you, a "pussy" but indirectly. If you were more on these forums you'd know him better.

JJ has insulted me a number of times in that thread and in others before I insulted him.
Frankly I think I have been treated unfairly because others have been insulting me an no comment was made about their actions.
I asked a number of times in different threads for the insults to stop. Some people like to be rude to others but if any comment to them is perceived to be rude they try to get action taken against the person they have been insulting.
Here are his quotes from just the Cloister thread before my insult of him.
