Call Of Duty: United Offensive
This is a game set in WWII, and the concept is: no one fights alone. This is one of the first first-person shooters I’ve played that actually stresses the concept of teamwork. The single player is excellent, some of the best single player I’ve ever played in any game of any genre.
In the single player you go through first as fighting for the U.S. 101st Airborne in the climactic moments of the Battle of the Bulge. Next join the British RAF and shoot down Stukas from the gunner position of a B-17, before transferring into the British Special Forces and clearing the way for the Invasion of Sicily. In the last third of the single player, join the Russians on the Eastern Front in the Battle of Kursk, one of the largest battles of all time.
As good as the single player is, as with most games, the multiplayer is much better. You can drive tanks and jeeps. You have a wide variety of weapons at your disposal to survive and win.
Sometimes it is hard to find a really good server to play in. I have solved this problem for you. Come in and play with me! A friend and I have purchased a server and now all we need is for more people to regularly play in it.

We also have a TeamSpeak server. TeamSpeak is program that runs in the background and allows you to vocally talk to other players, provided you have a microphone.
The TeamSpeak Client is all you need to make this work. You can download this for free here.
Even if you don’t have the game, feel free to drop in TeamSpeak and give us a shout. Anyone on HC is welcome, unless you act like a fool, which can get you banned. 
My name in game and in TeamSpeak is Kaiser, not Wolfman, so don’t get confused. If I’m logged into HC, I’m probably on TeamSpeak also.
If you do decide to come in, please use your HC name, at least initially.
Even if you don’t want to play with me, I’ll understand. But get this game anyway, it’s excellent.
PS: You need to have Call of Duty installed before United Offensive, it is an expansion not a stand alone game.

I don't have a very powerful PC.
I would love to try out all of these great new games coming out lately...Battlefield 1942, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, Doom 3, and Half-Life 2 to name just a few, but I am working off of a 5 year old laptop that only has a 6 GB HDD. So, I am stuck playing great old games like HoMM3 and D&D "Birthright".
I know a few of those other games are coming out or are already out for some consoles, but I don't think that you can connect an Xbox to a computer and both play the same game together.
Wolfman & Lord Woock, do you have an Xbox? Maybe we could hook up on GameSpy and have a round of a game that we all like.

What he said. I only had one console (a NES fakie), and right now I doubt I'm ever gonna get another. Things might change tho.

An Update
The name of the server has changed because of a "mutiny" in the AFF clan. A friend and I have broke off and formed a new clan for Call of Duty. Fighters and Gunners. Go get the game and jump in the server.
