I say tomorrow, as well, but other than that ASAP. Oh, and I say 2 weeks should be plenty for a match, or 2 weekends in Stargazer's case! 
P.S. Conan, I thought Jebus and Rage were out? And did you double check everyone's handles & records to make sure we are all truly nOObs?

What maps (randoms or fixed)we will be playing?
What if bouth players have 1.4 version(no map generator)?
What will be turn length (I prefer 4 min) and difficulty level (130-160).
Where I should report after win/loss?

If you want to play fair randoms you can play BALANCE or true random.
If you want to play a real random then play Jebus or Block Buster.
If 2 players have 1.4 then you have to have a player with a random generator AS PLAYER BLUE NOT RED to load up the random,& the player that is blue, which will be one of the 2 players playing the random will save then load up as the other player being red.
Yalls work out where to report it at or you can sign up for TOH or W&W

I don't know what Acu is talking about, but here are the Noob tourney rules, the way I'm running it:
1) 1.4 version
2) turn length will be 4 mins.
3) difficulty does not really matter, because there is only 2 guys playing. But for the roving bands, we will make it 130%
4) report win/loss here so I can update.

What Acu means is, if u only play with version 1.4, nobody will be able to create a random map. You all have to play fixed maps (pre-made, the ones given from 3do, or some from the TOH page). So if one of the 2 players has 1.4, and the other one has 3.2 or 4.0, u will be able to create randoms, but there will only appear things and stuff from 1.4 (so no conflux..)
And if u play randoms, u should use perhaps the same template for all games, to get a better sight of the results. BALANCE seems to be a good template. JEBUS is more rich, more fun and perhaps more easier.
Harder templates would be EXTREME or EXTREME II for example.

the problem is that us noobs don't know all this information. Myself included. I've never even played Jebus template. Heck, I don't even know how to make a template for a random game.
I say we play complete (because that is the version I have ) so is there a way for everyone to play the comlete edition?
Any inputs from the noobs will be appreciated.

My suggestions & questions?
Conan, are you sure that Rage is actually playing? From his last Posts it sounded like installing the game over & over again at school was going to be too much for him to handle. Rage, if you are out there, please get back to me as soon as possible, if I am correct or mistaken.
If Rage is unable to play, I guess we would have Tigris and I play each other instead, right? But, I would like to know as soon as possible which one it will be, so that we can finish the game within 2 weeks.
As for which version to play, we are sticking to Random games, with no rules, right?

AFAIK heroes complete is compatible with all the othe version played on the zone(1.2,2.2,3.2)So if a player has complete and the other 3.2(wich is my case) they can still play.About the templates, conan i'm afraid i don't know how to make that either.Better speak with Angelito for that one.About the matchups, i can only play utill dec 22 this year, cos after that it's xmass break, then i'll go home and i won't have the internet.So no game until the 8 of january next year for me.

Ok...some helping infos here:
1. All upgraded versions are compatible (1.4, 2.2, 3.2, 4.0).
2. Version 2.2 (AB) has to be played through TCP/IP, coz u canīt play it in the zone
3. The templates can be downloaded here
You should click on the picture of the template u wanna download, then click "save as" and save it in your DATA folder as "rmg.txt".
Feel free to ask if any info is missing

Ok i did just that.Now when i launch a game and i want to play a certain template i have to create the game over and over again until it generates the template i'm after? Or i should save in my DATA dir only one template at a time?

There should only be ONE file named "rmg.txt" in your DATA directory.
If u want to play a different template next time, like BALANCE, u have to download that template the same way and "overwrite" the old rmg.txt.
