Hello everyone.I'm new here,but i play heroes since the beging.Recently i found this site and i've register.Now i've seen here that will be a tournament for noob and vets so i want to play if i can of course.

I think if we take the definition of Klauts, we won´t get enough "vets" into that tourney, thats for sure.
So we should call them "experienced noobs"...
Everyone, who has played at least 20 onlinegames should be called "experienced noob". All other are the "real noobs".
How is that?

Since I've assumed the role of "Ruler of the world"... (Ruler?? yeah sounds good) I'll figure that one out... don't forget folks, it's just for fun... (I have a good idea of some of your skills so don't worry about classification... I do need help in recruiting though)

They can learn to build "teams". Means, u don´t have to "chain" your whole army between 7 or 8 heroes and fith with them all. No u can make 3 teams for example. Every team contents 2/3 heroes. Therefor you gotta focus on some units, and because of that learning how to use 1-3 lvl 7 units is vital.
2) Where is the challenge in seperating your army in 3 different groups who all is capable of dealing with somewhat tough creatures? thats learning how to play heroes3 on a silverplate.
If you want to learn troop management you need to learn which creatures you can fight, when you can fight em and what you can fight em with as the fights in a poorer map are much more valuable then a fight who might give you 24k gold instead of 22k of gold when the turn is over.
I didnt take my drivers licens in a porsche, but nor did i learn how to drive in a fully computerised automatic car which all you had to do was to say "drive to place X" and off you went
If you are to learn the game, why not learn it so you can play all situations and adapt instead of playing a crazy rich map and then realise you know nothing about other tactics when you play a poorer map?
sounds really stupid to me.
jebus, i doubt you will learn much from one game. You will see a way but to understand that way you will need more practise. Many ways will just mess the game you play up since you dunno where to go (unless you got that super automatic car which angelito wants )
EDIT: If im in i wanna do a good job learning someone how to play and thats the reason of my "conditions".
no jebus and set teams and im game. If not.. i dont wanna spend lots of hours messings n00bs up about they should play or not. I want a n00b pupil

Guys I have to say that being given an altamatum by one and then having that supported by another is a little bothersome and frustrating... I don't want to sit here and argue with anyone.. I presented the format and opened it to interested members... If you're not happy with it, you have 2 options: either don't join, or join under the conditions given... (heck I'm creating a tourney with rules that I don't believe in, to satisfy players... let's not push our luck.) Has any one gone on TOH or WW and complained about the format and said:" well if you don't change it, I'm not playing..."?? Do you think the admin really cares???
Simple solution... I will revoke my postition as tourney organiser and if SS or any other wish to take up where I've left off, be my guest. (this was supose to be for fun, and I'm losing interest in being ambassador.)
I just don't want to argue with people that never seem happy... you don't like it, do it yourself.
(I'll be very happy playing in King of the noobs like I wanted from the start... Just thought Angelito's idead would be fun to realize)

jebus, is not meant as critism.
Just an advice to improve learning and IMO have more fun.. am not saying that your ideas suck. On the contrary i think the idea is good of a mixed allied tournament i just dont like the current concept
Well do as you with, id be happy to take on one pupil if you want me too

Jebus, yea you need to have fun. If it becomes a burden, I agree you should just say "this is the way it will be". ( even though I'm about to make a suggestion )
Stiven: I understand what you are saying against Jebus Cross. But bear in mind that people are not going to learn everything in just a few games. Too much info in a short time can be overwhelming. Also, I've played a LOT of SP HOMM and could learn from any map at any level. But, there potentially could be people who are new to HOMM even for SP. It would be good to find out ahead of time. If someone has only been playing HOMM for a few months, Jebus might not be a bad map to learn on.
Now my suggestion. What about an easier map first round, and harder maps in later rounds? Also, if it's not TOH, why not edit the Jebus template (if anyone knows how). Maybe make it not quite so rich....and get rid of some pan boxes.
