Am I the only one getting creamed in 3.58f?
I have yet to even come close to winning a scenario in the new version. Seems like I go along OK and then I run into a hero 3-4 times as strong as I am. Azure dragons, dracoliches, you name it. What gives?

I have never seen comp. opponent with azures in random map. What kind of map(s) are you playing? And have you set some scripts on which could have had an effect on the computerīs possibilities to get such an armies?
Imo itīs easy in wog to beat bigger armies than yours if your army has more experience.

I play random maps exclusively, XL. I don't have stack experience turned on.

well im not very good at XL's but i do know their the hardest. i always make ashes out of my enemy in other maps.

Try L's and focus on lv8 creature recruiting.These overpower any normal army.

Umm just try to design your armies more efficiently, and use better tactics. You can beat AI players much much stronger armies and heroes this way, the AI in WOG may be better than the standard but its still crap when it comes to tactics. The only difficulty I have with XL maps is the amount of time it takes to complete them. Usually I'll just play till I finish off all the strong AI players and heroes so that my victory becomes just a matter of time and get bored start a new map.
