Ah, broken objects, the great outdoors brought inside, and an adorable face in the middle of the mess...a familiar scene. It looks like the dog's been sitting on the chair, too, unless there's someone else in your house who leaves splinters on the furniture. Very cute!

Good eye Khaelo! The small rips in the chair are indeed her handy work. Her biggest 'accomplishment' was probably eating some of my sister's nice shoes. Dunno how much they were, but let's just say they weren't bought at Foot Locker. I've also had to throw out over 5 pairs of socks because they had big holes in them.
If you look at the very top left corner of the pic, you can see a silverish thing behind the plants. That's to cover our fireplace, after you know who decided to explore. Don't worry, we weren't using it, so no hot dog, but she did get a lot of soot on her, and being white doesn't help.
@ Leo: You may be right. But I no longer have a negative opinion of any of the furniture in our house, because most of them (like the carpet and chair) are so old that I've been "desensitized" to them.
