The Heroes games for some reason lack War Elephants! Not only are these awesome units real both historically, mythologically and bioogically, but they would fit in with the games excellent!
Make "War Elephant" a Lv 6 neutral unit. Possibly aligned with Stronghold and Fortress. Very high attack value. Maybe upgrade to "Mammoth"! Special: same as cavalier/champion?
I think many of the units suggested and also units in WOG are too similar to already present units or combinations of original units. I prefer completely new classes of units, like the new WOG werewolf for example. However, I think werewolves should be aligned with Stronghold as well, since they have Wolf Raiders/Riders in their ranks. Maybe make it possible for Stronghold to upgrade Wolf Raiders to Werewolves or they can upgrade spontaneously (Full Moon events).
I think this game need more:
* human units: pirates?
* real animals: war elephants?
* prehistoric animals: mammoths? dinosaurs? Giant Moas?
* semi-aquatic animals: kraken? mermaid? Skylla?

Academy heroes will ride elephants in the upcoming Heroes 5.

The New Town Group - the people who are working on Bastion - had a similar idea. The specialty will probably be destroy castle walls, not jousting bonus, though.

Everyone agrees on that one. I guess those were early experiments with the graphics...
If you want to, you could install one of the patches by Arstahd, Acid or BJ... or change the creatures yourself.

What about, an archangel with resurrect, with life drain, that can turn to stone and has death gaze, no retaliation, and has the fire shield like the efreeti, immune to magic, and every time one of them dies two of them come back to life. And does infinite damage.
Can we keep the new creatures to these threads?

I think I didn't understand the main idea of this... This archangel would be undefeatable, cuz it hits infinitive damage and when it's killed, ressurects two of them...
