Allianz Group is a Co-sponsor of Bayern München, main sponsor is T-Com (german telecom).
But Allianz-Group is the main partner for the new football-stadium of Bayern München and TSV 1860 München which is build right now north of munich and will be finished in 4 month.
It´s called "Allianz-Arena" and it looks awesome in my eyes.

But I don't like this trend of naming stadiums after the team's sponsor... Like Bayer 04 Leverkusen's "BayArena", and now "Allianz Stadium"... It's selling their souls, imo...
But this is off topic And they've already sold their souls, so...

50% of all stadiums in the "Bundesliga" have such names now...Hamburg palys in the "AOL-Arena", Wolfsburg in the "VW-Stadion", and so on......all clubs need money...that´s just one more way to do so...

It's definitely a North American trend. I'd have trouble naming 5 stadiums from the big 4 pro sport leagues that aren't named after some corporation or another.

I just read through IYYs PP; and I just thought I'd recommend everyone to read it. He presented himself in a really innovative manner.
