ebay!
I was wondering what you folks think about ebay? I've created this poll to see how often members shop there.
So, how often do you buy from ebay?
It's just for fun, so don't worry 
Since we have quite a few members from Europe, this should be interesting!

I almost bought something from eBay...
I was looking to get an old Xbox from eBay and had actually bid on some a few times & lost. Eventually, one of my wife's uncles ended up buying me one, so I gave up on eBay, as there is nothing else that I am interested in buying these days.

I've used it to find some old games or rare ones. Or even current ones when I don't wanna pay full price.

well, I find it awsome. I especially like paypal. I find it secure and usefull.
You can get really good prices on there. Everytime I need a part for my car I go on and usually find it.
I use it quite a bit

I've been thinking about getting a nice keyboard or a keyboard amp or both off of there that I know I could get for a lot cheaper than it's worth... it's definately a great way of saving money...

If I want cheap computer hardware, I just head over to the local chinese mall where they sell USB keys as though they were chicken feet. Or, uh... Some other thing that chinese people tend to sell.

I bought Heroes III Complete on there for £11.95. A steal. However, since my mate bought a dodgy beta copy or something of HIII SOD we couldnt play anymore. So I ended up buying him another copy of HIII Complete from the same guy as I bought mines.
Id recommend him (LonelyGeorge) if you need any H3 merchandise (he is in Germany though but got it posted to me in 3 days flat)

I shop on ebay once in a great while... but when I do, I have gotten GREAT deals!! I purchased HOMM3 Complete (3 copies) for $15 (USA Currency) each. Just recently I purchased 3 pair of cross training shoes (Nike cross trainers Retail $120.) for $10 each. I would have easily paid double for 1 pair in a store than the 3 pair + shipping I received from Ebay.
2 Things I look for when dealing with someone on Ebay..
1) How many transactions does this person have? I always feel more comfortable when a person have over a few hundred transactions.
2) Positive feedback rating. If this person has a 95% - 100% positive feedback rating after dealing with over hundreds of customers, I feel pretty good about dealing with this person.
On a side note, I would not give my primary checking account info. to paypal (just my preference) as I am always leary about just how "secure" the inet really is. I would set up another free checking account with another bank and put in just enough to cover your purchase. My other option is using a Credit Card (NOT DEBIT) as you can challenge any purchase that is not made by you and have the Credit Card company deal with it.

Ive used it a few times, its not all that bad, but make sure you look at the shipping costs of some things, they jack up the prices of shipping on alot of items, for example ive seen ps2's with 30$-45$ shipping, for the price and shipping (and if i buy from the states there handleing charge too) I could just get it at futureshop with free shipping. oh HEAVEN forbid, go to the store and buy it 
although the games i've bought on EBAY there was no way to get without it.

I bought nearly ALL my dvd´s (about 250) on ebay.
Never made a bad experience though...
