That was a funny impersonation of "Aculias", there buddy!  You should have saved that as a Contest entry for this new Challenge of Random Proportions of yours. You could call it the:
"Guess who I am game?" 
Seriously though, RSF, if you want to take over the GAME again, just let me know...I'll step back. But, if you prefer handling the "creative" side of things (instead of just complaining about them all of the time  ) that would work for me, as well! I could handle the logistics & manage the 1st Post, and you could create the Contests & come up with other creative ways to improve the GAME.

I also think that RSF should help out with some of the contests. He's got some great imagination!!

I'd like to suggest that we do some work on organizing this game a little bit better. I know i am opening myself up to a bunch of jokes by Leo about my Anal nature, but I can't hold back anymore!
This thread is a MESS!!!
I never know what the heck is goin on, I'd like to play but I just can't wade through it all.
Another point, I think that we're quite likely to see some great things coming in the form of contest entries, and I think that Asmo and I should be able to give these entries QP when they come up - so we need to figure a means to implement that.
So what I'm thinking is that we need a thread for:
1) Contest Matches and Results
2) Offtopic talking, suggestions, opinions, volunteers to help etc.
3) Contest entries
Now for the entries we can either have Leo continue to copy them into one thread after the winner is announced, but then the mods would have to QP the author in another thread with an explanation or Authors should post their submissions into a new tavern thread after the voting is done in the wastelands, then we mods can QP the actual entry right there.
I just see no reason for all this ghastly untidiness
Plus, I wanna play - and all the clutter is a Pandora repellant
Go ahead Leo, poke your fun! (ps: you don't need to remind me to talk to you now haha)

So far my personal favorite came from a mod anyways DragonSlayer's letter to Gorman was sooo sweet! LOL
I was speaking mainly in general, i'd like to see this game go on - and I think that the different types of contests and such have the potential to produce some really great things

I don't have time right now for a long-winded reply, but...
I totally agree! I wanted this game to have an opportunity for quality "Contest submissions". I know many people simply wanted the GAME to remain ridiculous, but I felt things could get better, much better! Sort of like how the HC Olympics would have demanded good-quality Posts.
I understand, however, that the people who wanted this to be silly & fun were some of the 1st people to get involved...so I could not change the GAME and completely alienate them...that would have been wrong! Instead, I tried to compromise and meet everyone half way.
As usual, instead of pleasing most...I managed to please little-to-none! So, I am at the end of my rope! I am really discouraged...I don't know if I even care anymore...

Leo, don't be discouraged , you're doing a great job!
The beauty of this game, is that it can be everything - it can be silly and serious and stupid and brilliant all at once
You don't need to follow one set of rules or one particular theme - perhaps trying to match the contest with the nature of the thread being fought for could help?
I also have no time to go long winded right now, but don't give up - and if you need any help, input or just an ear to vent at - you've got my e-mail

I just want to get my mind clear before I continue with the GAME, so I will look after everything, but maybe only later tonight or tomorrow. So, whatever....

Well, Pandora, I must confess that DS should get a qp for the love letter....but heck, I'm surprised he actually wrote it! Could I get a qp too for getting him to go out on a limb even though RSF was supposed to send one too? hehe

eeek, a double-post!
Leo, on a re-read here I've become worried that you may have taken my post as criticism, and that is absolutely not how it was intended!
I have just noticed that some people have had trouble noting when a contest starts/ when to challenge etc; so I was just suggesting if we had a thread that housed only that info - it would be more user-friendly.
