I guess my point is that if ur reasonably respectfull to the guy ur gonna play, itll increase the chance of finishing the game manyfolds.

You are saying that people that are not nice to their opponent have less chance of finishing a game??

What difference does it make whether or not your opponent is nice to you??? You are playing a game, not having a charity contest!!

Now i guess you think i am the biggest @$$ in the whole world, i like to think not though I agree with you it´s much more fun playing nice people then playing people that keep spamming you and stuff. I try to have a good conversation with my opp (not cause i want him to finish the game but because i just like to chat ). I don´t think people leave a game with me because of problems they have with me personally. I think they drop when they don´t have a good game (bad arts, lose main etc.) or when they think turns last to long.

The above are NOT reasons to not continue a game. If you´re opp is not being nice to you is not a reason for sure (up to a certain lvl). When your opp is calling you a cheater, spamming you etc, that would be a good reason to leave the game.

There are a few good reasons to ask your opp to make a save and continue some other time. However, usually you will notice whether your opp really wants to continue the game or not. If they don´t want to continue a game they drop and they do not come back. If they do want to continue they will say so and make an appointment.

Don't get me wrong titan, I'm a peacefull and gentle human beeing. I like to live in harmony with nature, I won't hurt any living creature. I like to see butterflys flying in my garden, where wonderfull green grass grows. Yes, that's the way I am.

And yes, Heroes comes all above else. That's why sometimes, but only sometimes I GET MAD!!!!!!!!!!!! Specially when ppl drop games when they know they're loosing. God oh God if I would meet such dork. I can easy imagine what I would do with such person if I would meet him in real life. My face becomes red, heart starts to beat faster! I would hit him, I would kick him!!! BLOODDDDD !!! I WANT BLOODDDDDDDDD!!!!! Man, I sdagmäpfdsan lö mhgewrf ihahiahahahahihadg&T$32q8

Hehee Zonekill, I just digged up the save again, ill be in the zone in a couple of min And looking forward to it aswell

Cheessus, my point was merely that if u get along with ur opp, its far more likely if u save, that u will finish it
And as far as a charity contest, well I dont give a flying rats behind, but I wanna have fun when im playing, simple as that

I know that Defreni. I get along with lots of people and i don´t really stand by my own words, it´s a little bit to much i know

All i tried to say is that the behaviour of your opp SHOULD not be a factor of deciding whether or not to continue a game. Although i know the opposite is more likely to be true.

Take care

Quitters

You know guys, you have hit on probably the most hated thing about playing Heroes. Worse than Hit & Run if possible 8)

For Heroes 4, if ToH could just keep a total of "unfinished games" for each player beside his name it could fix that problem permanently! Sure there would be arguments about who didnt want to finish it, but even so.... If you see a guy with 4 games and 27 unfinished games you might decide not to play him. And maybe he would get the message.

What do you think?

Normally, if a player leaves voluntarily, it's because he attacked something, but lost dragons or main hero.
THe solution is SAVE immideatly after player withdrawal.
The cpu would never attack a strong army of monsters, so if the save shows no main hero, it's obvious why the player left.

muhahaha
