Dedicated to Adrius.
Quote:
In a land of fire and dread,
A man was bred,
With fire in his heart,
And mead in his belly,
He leapt at foes,
And others would boast.
O' there was Azadrius,
Neither man nor beast
He was fierce as yeast
And a heart as soft as fleece!
A man of steel,
He shirked not,
His mettle nor zeal,
But advanced with
Keelhauls at his knee!
Then he got an arrow in the Heel!
With hands in the air
And knots in the hair,
Azadrius leapt
For cold night's care,
But all he found,
Was a dragon's GLARE!
O' Azadrius!
A legend of old,
In the land of cold,
He will fold,
When he is told,
That he is a god among MEN!
Adrius
Like some of our members, Adrius came here as a child, and matured into an intelligent and caring individual.
I first met Ad shortly after joining, his sole intention seemingly being to yoke me as if I was the second coming of Carcity.
Five years he has graced the fields, plateaus, and pastures of HC. (joined October 23rd 2007)
A good guy, yet still prone to hasty action, but never fears to make things right, and never, hesitates; is a shining beacon to us all.
Adrius is most known for his bezerker like avatar and attitude, (to ward off trouble makers), but anyone who knows him will remember him by his big heart.
Loves his dog to bits, and most likely shares the 'petite' facial structure of most Swedes.

Meroe:
Quote: Meroe dear,
Of forlorn fear,
Mistress of night,
Yet bright fire's light,
Maiden of doom,
Spinning the loom,
Clutching the strings,
Of poor Noob's heart,
On a midsummer's night,
Nooby asked,
Whether meroe-dear,
Was the fairest deer,
In the woods of life?
She was fair,
But a mere lare,
A lesson to fools,
Who's hearts are loose,
And filled with little more than air!
Mistress of night
I call to thee,
why hath thou imposed,
This mighty fee?
This levy
That's so heavy,
Upon the hearts,
Of our floozy men
Meroe
HC had many female/'femine' members since the beginning, as of late the testosterone level of HC was either exploited by the latter, or suffocated the former.
Meroe has been the cause of catastrophes since the beginning of her reign of terror, though used her female guile wisely, she was/is still prone to causing collateral damage. Countless threads were burned at the stake thanks to her.
Her remarkable and witty resilience to the robust advances of the underground members, is nothing short of remarkable. It even made me question whether she's a female at all, and not just some dude in disguise, but she neither wore this swarm of affection as 'pride', nor did she act upon it more than need be, like HC's former actors. So yes, Meroe is irrefutably the all knowing mother of Heroes Community.
She's been kicking around since august 2010, and has been part of almost every major happening since then.
She never let anything get her down, and is always striving to be the voice of reason, though rarely taking a serious stance. (seemingly)

You mean like Shares and Xerox? Eh I'm more like City I think, except not so huge and intimidating.
I have a very round face, 'tis why I wear the beard, gives me a bit more edge.
Oh and thanks for the spotlight, was pretty spot on (ho ho).

Galatea
Galatea must be one of the most adorable members ever. Heck, she can compete against Meroe over who of the two is the most attractive girl on this forum!
Quiet, shy, naive, cute, calm and there you have it - Galatea.
She's pretty interesting and has a lot to say about herself. I know that because the two of us were HCming each other. Galatea is very friendly, but she doesn't have much time to post since she has to work a lot. IIRC, she's a teacher and an office worker, so no wonder that she hasn't got much free time.
Other than that, she's pretty active in the Glade where she's participating in two RPs at the moment. Galatea posts in the Tavern and the VW where she sticks to the fun stuff and always tries to leave a good impression (worked on me, just sayin').
Galatea has been a member since 24th of August, 2012, so she's still new here, but she has won the Best newbie of 2012 award which she really deserved.
So much I can say about Galatea, 'cause she's fresh to this board. However, I hope that she stays and that she becomes a well known and respected member one day.

And she told you, laughing down to her core, so she would not cry, as she lay on your lap,
