Okay, too many post for me to quote each one specifically so a general summarization here:

Thank You all for your support in Wizards and Warriors, Wiz, Lady and myself. We have always strived and will continue to do so in making Wizards and Warriors a place where ALL players can come to play Heroes3 as well as Heroes5 come 2006.

In regards to the point system, let me again state that the points in Wizards and Warriors does not show the better players and we in no way have ever said this. Please look at the RANKING system instead and see that it takes a certain # of wins to achieve Guildmaster and higher ranks.   The Top 20 is based upon the most # of wins, not points so I do not see where yall think that the Top 20 is not accurate.

In regards to the # of towns in tribes...basically until 2 full seasons ago it was 1 town only per tribe so 2 starting towns with the option too purchase a 3rd town mid season is real good.....I know specifically why the additional town choice option has been mentioned and let me with total finality state that Conflux will never be allowed within any Heroes3 sub tournaments of any type.

Not quite certain where the stubburn remark (about me) came from or by whom but please know that it is not stubborness that makes me stick to certain rules, guidelines, etc.  Players need to keep in mind that there are over 1,100 registered players and that while 1 player thinks that a particular change is good for themself it generally is not the best for the other 1,099 players or Wizards and Warriors overall.

Off to sleep for now, will check again later tomorrow as I am quite certain there will be feedback on these issues.

What is the timeframe for seasons beginning & ending at WW and does everything reset or just a player's score?

Also, what sort of "turn-around-time" can someone expect when they either report a cheater or contest a reported game? Is it even customary to hear back from someone at all?

This is my first year playing HoMM3 online, so I'm not sure what the answers to my questions are, and I couldn't find the answers on the WW website. Please let me know, thanks!

Val, you are funny!! The true secret ingredient that you are missing is.... Do NOT commit suicide or lose 50% of your troops fighting battles (that you can easily win with no losses) due to losing concentration (looking at porn during battles, chatting with the female members in the zone, etc...).  Master this and I will stand no chance

I don't think we've played a game yet where you had more than 50% of your army in endfight

Leo,

The regular season for Wizards and Warriors runs from September 1st thru August 31st. All ranks, game stats, win/loss records and maps are cleared on the 31st and all players start anew on September 1st.

All medals earned by players during the previous season are then transferred from the current medal area to the past seasons medals on thier profile page.

In regards to someone possibly cheating. Pat was correct in saying to send the save(s) to me, but generally 1 lone save is not enough to prove 100% beyond a doubt there was a cheat so is always best to send in as many saves for the game that you have. General rule of thumb is too make a save every day when playing someone new that you are unsure of or when playing someone that has a rather questionable character.  I do try to initially respond to each person that sends in a complaint against someone. What players dont sometimes understand is that this process can take several days to several weeks as the saves are sent to 3 seperate individuals for review, I then review it as well, email the person accused of cheating, there is usually several emails (minimum) involved in this process. Once a decision has been made one way or the other I then email both players involved letting them know the outcome.

Thanks for the information, Debs!

I'm glad to know what will happen, come September 1st, and not be caught off guard when all of my games & points vanish.

As for the cheating issue, I had sent you an email on May 20 reporting the cheater that I describe in my post, half way down the page, in this Thread. I have additional saved games from our match, but I had only sent you one because I wasn't aware that more saves would be better. When I get back home, later this weekend, I will send you another email with additional saves, cool?

how is that better then with points?

well first of all each new season a player's record doesn't need to be deleted since his experience up to that season affect his status on next season, secondly that prevents situations like a good player who stopped playing for a while or has NOT been active enough can play any other good player.

I agree with this and wasn't aware that everything a player achieved (record) in a season was all erased.  Myself, I don't play many games per week as it is, so to build up some sort of a status may take longer than others that play everyday in the zone.  If my record is reset to 0 on Sept. 1st, then most players in the zone wouldn't know me from another player that has never played a game in his/her life.  When I search for a game to play, I often check the record of the player and who that player's wins and losses are against.  I would like to see the records stay and only the rankings be reset.  Just my opinion

2 main reasons the records are all reset:

Server space required to keep data for over 14,000 games yearly (consider we are soon to be starting our 5th year).

Ranks do affect the ability of players to be able to join tribes (Guildmaster) rule.

Your rank and medals are still listed on the profile page. As for looking to see whom might have played whom in the previous years...this is just not something I have the space to keep all records on. Also keep in mind that the more data on a page the longer it takes to load and not all players have the luxury of cable or dsl.

I won't worry.  If everyone looks at me as a new player after the new season starts... I can always get a game with you   Unless of course you commit suicide

Misreporting a Game

It would be nice to see a feature (if possible) where a player can undo a misreported game.  This may cut down on the number of emails sent to Azure asking to have each misreported game corrected.

Myself, I don't like bothering someone who is putting so much time and effort into running the tournaments and keeping up the stats for our enjoyment.  On the other side, I am very embarassed to have reported a win vs. someone I will probably never beat and have that lingering on his record
