But perhaps they play "Round_Robin style?...
So every player has to play against each other one.
First player has to play 566 games to be sure having played against every other player.
Second player has to play additional 565 games....
Third player has to play additional 564 games....
and so on...
So what we need is the summary of all numbers between 1 and 566.
There is a formula for that:
Sum = x*(x+1)/2
X = 566
Sum = 160.461
So it will take a while before that tournament is finished..

Agreed. But I don't see how you can be certain for a sole winner on that tourney Angelito.
Unless of course it is indeed allowed for more than one person to win the tourney, where in that case ... I think you can get out your tongue towards me!

On the following, where Pi I mean the greek uppercase Π that shows product (this time cartesian).
Then it is:
Pi (X-i), where i is a letter of the english alphabet,
which in plain english, and according to the order in which you gave the products implies all possible "words" that can be written in English, such that A is not the first letter, B is not the second letter, C is not the third letter. Moreover, I don't know if you do allow the empty character which would allow you to build words with less than 26 characters. If you don't allow empty characters then you can build words only with 26 letters.
By the way, why don't you describe the explanation you had for the previous one? Or is it yet not over that part?

the answer is 0, due to the fact that eventually one of the brackets will look like this (X-X) and the answer is 0, and then anything multiplied by 0 will always equal zero

ok. just to give you a clue of what I was talking about:
For the cartesian product, try "cartesian product" with google and follow the first link. As for the minus interpretation, you have to see it from a set-theoretic view; it is also known as set difference.
Too bad this idea was wrong. I hadn't notice that the finals start tomorrow.

You are absolutely right on that one Rebirthing. I really thought that you were older! By the way, I didn't mean to insult you in any way with my previous post. here is just a riddle to keep u guys occupied
there is a horse that has 4 legs, its just a normal horse. now the horses 2 left legs walk 1 kilometre longer than the two right legs every day. explain how this is possible.
