I tried playing Morrowind a few years ago. Having left the starting area, I kept declining quests up to the point when nobody wanted to talk to me. I guess that's why it's called role playing. So I got bored and left the town, then killed a stranger by pure luck and got his mighty sword. Well duh.
On topic, the games I played most are Heroes, Age of Wonders, Disciples, Diablo, Warcraft and Myst.
I think you're a stellar and most excellent individual, and I handsomely enjoy reading your replies.

Heroes 3 & 5, Heroes Chronicles (I play them again lately), World of Warcraft, Heretic 2, Halflife 2, BloodRayne 1 & 2, Call of Duty 1 & 2, Knights of Honor, Tzar, Mortal Combat, Red Alert 2, Worms, Stronghold Legends, Tekken, Mario, Tanks and more...
Why the games before 2000 were so much grater?
Also I love the Black mirror, but I can't say I played it a lot.

Well, I usually play a big variety of games and then stop playing them when I've finished them or get bored with them. Mostly the second. How ever, there are a number of games who allways seem to find their way back to me. So counting the total time, these are without a doubt the games I've played the most.
HoMM 3, all of them
Unreal Tournament, the only arena shooter I've liked so far
Age of Empires II, a game that runs in the family, we have had long pleasant night together
Diablo II LoD
TES III: Morrowind, one of the best, biggest and widest RPG's ever.
Warcraft III, the editor rules! It rules so much, that new genres of games were invented with it!

it is a long list for some of you. what do you mean by most played?
1) timesplitters future perfect (over 30 days (according to the stats, but I'm not sure if the time in the mapmaker is counted, actually it might be twice what I said))
2) timesplitters (about 30 days)
3) timesplitters 2 (about 15 days)
4) Far cry 2 (let's see, I spend most of my time in the map editor, a bit less than 20 maps, about 30 - 40 hours for each one I guess, 700 hours? in that case it's ranked higher than I though)
5) deus ex (finished it almost 5 times, so that's probably a few hundreds hours)
oh, yeah, I have 300 hours on final fantasy 12 too.
I think I spent more time playing Heroes III than doing anything else except breathing, sleeping, and perhaps going to school.
Heroes IV is also up in my list, followed by H5, but I think the second most played game in my case would be FIFA. I especially worn-out the 06 version, but they are all similar enough to be counted as a single game.
In the ancient days, before 2003, I used to be an Age of Empires addict. Besides that, I think I have a decent number of Supaplex hours under my belt.

The Battletoads pause song was awesome. That's the sound you listen to just before unpausing and being annihilated by the obscenely hard race track. The military should use that game for young recruits, and I'm only slightly joking.

For those that never had the pleasure of playing the recorded hardest game ever, this level 3 race track is not as hard as it looks.
It's harder.
The level with the giant snakes was awesome, though it wasn't so bad (relatively speaking). I remember the level with the logs was another killer.
