Year Long Turns

Does anyone have any experience with opponents that take extremely long turns?  There are big battles to be fought sometimes, I get that. I am talking above and beyond that... Turns where you can shower, shave and and get dressed, come back and it isn't done yet... or go outside and mow the lawn, come back and your opponent is still in his turn.  This could be used as one hell of a strategy against your opponent... bore them to sleep, then attack

yes, I've had that. It makes a game really hard and long to play, which is part of the reason why my wife won't let me anymore.

I drives me nuts. Now I always play with a time limit, but the buzzer stresses me out!

Yeah, I hear that!! You set a time limit and don't battle, but have to chain all your troops and get everything done... time sure goes fast!

It is always my luck that I sit there and wait during those long turns.... and then I figure, ok, this person takes 10 minute turns, I will go do something.  The times I get up to do something is when they finish in 2 minutes or less

(sniff!) my prayers have been answered

The problem with timed turns is that they can still take off during a battle round and go do their "domestic or marital duties".

guilty as charge

hehe i once fought about 250 dendroid soldiers with 2 devils. It took a while, but it was worth it.At least for me it was.
As a suggestion just in case someone doesn't know about it, Xarfax's cranim works wonders.I'd say it cuts about half an hour or more from a game length.

I usually take under a minute for my turns, unless I battle!

Just last game I fought > 200 infernal troglodytes with just a handful of pikemen, some archers and a ballista, which probably took almost as long as Tigris' dendroid game.
