The whole game is mythology. More to that, the original "Warlord" (Chaos) town was dedicated to Greek mythology, while the Barbarian and Order towns to Barbarian\Norse mythology.

They are all from myths (well except some Castle creatures I suppose) so that means they are mythologic. You're thinking of Greek Mythology.
There is such thing as Celtic, Norse or Egyptian Mythology etc.
